“What is there to say other than without Marissa, there would have been no wedding. Joshua Tree has a reputation of being hot- and April is typically mild. NOT ON OUR WEDDING DAY! 40 degrees with wind chill with a wind SO strong that literally almost nothing would stay up (and it was completely outdoors). This girl jumped in to action and made sure that even with the craziest wind, we still had a *stunning* wedding reception. The flowers were picturesque- matching the venue, the bride and the groom to a T. All the smaller details on tables and the use of various pieces made the wedding pop in ways that as an artist and a bride, I will never forget. The colors, the choice of flowers, being able to jump to fix almost ANY situation on the fly- this girl has a PLAN and then she has at least 4-5 more in case those don't work out. She's an expert in all of it because she's been working in the wedding industry for almost a decade- planning, doing flowers, doing CAKES, running it.. the list goes on and on. She's the ONLY person I would ever want by my side for any of this and she made our day absolutely perfect even when everything we had plan for had only one enemy- wind.”

“I’m not sure I can express in words how grateful I am for Cassandra, but I’ll try. We hired Cassandra to plan our July 2025 wedding at Valhalla in South Lake Tahoe. Aesthetically: I am someone who considers myself somewhat of a creative, but not incredibly organized, and certainly not a planner. For my wedding I had a vision for what some things would look like, and I wanted to design a few things myself (stationery/paper goods/signage), and I had a general aesthetic vision for the wedding but I couldn’t begin to imagine how to plan a whole event. Cassandra met me exactly where I was, rolling with my ideas and filling them out with all the rest of the details perfectly. She has beautiful taste (photos of her past weddings is what initially drew me to her) and all of her ideas were excellent; I had a lot of fun in our planning meetings where she would show me several options for various tablescape components and we could talk through them and choose together. Visually, our wedding was a dream. Organizationally: We did a “partial planning” package, which meant that I was more in charge of hiring vendors in the year leading up to the wedding, and then she took over coordination 6 weeks out. This is the time where things start to get stressful (lots of emails coming in, friends and family all have questions, etc), so it was amazing to have Cass on my team, fielding all the incoming emails and knowing the answer to every single vendor question, and jumping in to help coordinate things for our welcome party (which I had originally said I didn’t need help with). Once the big day arrived, Cassandra was AMAZING. She was so on top of everything. We had a bit of a weather scare (looked like thunderstorms might roll in in the afternoon; our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner were all planned to be outside). It seemed like I should be stressed about this, but Cassandra assured me she had a plan A, B, C, and D, and all her staff prepared to do whatever needed to be done at any moment, so I felt shockingly unworried about the whole thing. (It did rain during our first look (the hour leading up to guest arrival), and was raining when guests arrived; she had had her staff bring a bunch of stuff inside, directed the bar staff to serve welcome drinks inside, and thankfully the rain cleared out quickly and they dried off the furniture moved everything back out to the lawn got everything back on track very quickly.) A bunch of our guests had interactions with Cassandra and couldn’t wait to tell me “your planner seems so great, I really like her!” I was nervous going into wedding planning because I had had many friends have frustrating experiences with wedding planners, but my experience could not have been better. It was a true collaboration, a fun time, and we are forever grateful to Cassandra for making it happen.”

Our venue was historic and required specific insurance requirements that R&R Collective was proactive in making sure they met. On our wedding day, they handled set-up and take-down flawlessly, and kept our vendors and timeline on track while still allowing us the space and flexibility to adjust for any last-minute desires. “I cant rave about OLW enough! From start to finish Angelina guided and assisted us in all the ways we needed. Im based in LA and we had our wedding in SF. We planned everything remotely and she executed everything flawlessly. I never once felt unease or felt like i had to fly out and take care of anything myself. Our actual wedding day landed on a day where 75% of the city had a black out, raining, and on christmas week. Our ceremony venue ended up calling us the night before our wedding day CANCELING!! Angelina and the rest of the amazing women in OLW somehow made a magical wedding happen for us. It was truly a night to remember. Im forever grateful. This is a team of passionate amazing women capable of executing absolutely anything you throw at them. We would have been lost without them. I dont think there would even have been a wedding without them. All of the women in OLW are amazing i truly felt like i was at home with these women. They also have wedding packages that are very affordable! If your looking for a wedding planner im telling you!!!! OUR LITTLE WEDDING IS IT!!!
