Everyone at Holiday Inn was amazing. Everything I wanted for my wedding was done and was perfect. The decor was amazing, the food was great, and the layout of the room was great. All my guests were able to see the dance floor from their seats. There was also a discount for guests staying at the hotel. I had many complements from my guests about the reception as well. The price was low considering the location is in downtown Saratoga Springs. The hotel has a staircase in the back that leads to Congress Park for beautiful pictures. It is also within walking distance to many churches along Broadway. My night was amazing! Thanks to all at the Holiday Inn.

Marcia and her team at the Marriott helped make our day amazing! She was very patient with us and our multiple changes along the way. The chef, bartenders, servers, and everyone in between did a lovely job at both our welcome event and our reception. While some communication was difficult along the way, Marcia really prioritized us in the couple weeks leading up to the wedding. If we could redo, we would have our wedding here again.

The Inn at Erlowest was the perfect venue for our special day. From signing to the day of, the staff was efficient, organized, and friendly in their communication - especially the onsite wedding coordinator. LeAnna and her team were so knowledgeable and good at their jobs that I never stressed about the event. All good vibes! They helped coordinate all of our details; from the night before BBQ, to table linens to photographs of two large families, keeping everything running smoothly and on time. The venue itself is breathtaking. Guests are still telling us that they’re never seen a more beautiful ceremony location, and the reception space is a perfect mix of elegant and down to earth that we were aiming for. We feel so lucky to have found the West Mountain Inn for our wedding. We first visited about a year before our wedding and immediately felt like it would be the perfect place for our special day. We were greeted by the resident golden retrievers, who followed us on our tour. If you’re a dog lover, you’ll be very happy with this venue! But really, it was Amie, Mary Beth and the rest of the staff who sold us. We immediately felt like they cared about making your day as perfect as possible for us, which was very welcome after touring other venues which felt like they wanted to squeeze every penny from us. After we decided on the venue, Amie was so willing to work with people like us who wanted to plan every detail possible. Amie answered all of my questions and sent additional information like floor plans so I could plan who was assigned to each room as soon as possible. Her communication over email was so incredible helpful! We absolutely loved that we could have so many guests staying at the inn and knew that would be perfect for our winter wedding. Next came our tasting, which was such a fun event. There are two tastings a year, both in March (though I think you could have a private tasting if you need). We loved being able to stay at the inn for a night and meet all of the other couples getting married here within the year. As our wedding was in February, we had to wait a long time between the tasting and trying the food again, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint! Chef Jeff did an amazing job with our welcome party, breakfast and lunch the day of the wedding, the absolutely amazing wedding dinner (and late night snacks), and brunch the next morning! We heard that most couples have a hard time eating during their weddings, but we cleaned our plates! Definitely try the butternut squash ravioli, it is incredible! We had our ceremony in the barn, then moved to the bar in the inn for cocktail hour, then dinner in the dining room, and dancing in the living room. They take out the big pieces of living room furniture and move some chairs to the side for dancing. A lot of my family was skeptical about that, but the inn knows what they’re doing!! The dance floor was plenty big for our party of 60 (and I’m sure it could have accommodate larger groups), and the chairs on the sides were a huge hit! It was incredible to be able to sit down for a minute and still feel like you’re a part of the party. I know a lot of our guests enjoyed that as well. We got ready in the Norman Rockwell suite, which worked out well since we had a small bridal party. We also loved getting to see all the rooms in the inn - every room is thought out so well and has little details that are so fun to find! We thought the inn was what made our wedding weekend so magical and cannot wait to visit again on anniversaries or other special occasions. Thank you so much to the entire team - we are so grateful to you!

Reader: If you’re in love, thinking about falling in love, or just want to be surrounded by charm, joy, and magic: BOOK YOUR WEDDING AT THE WILBURTON! Wow. Just wow. This place is utterly one of a kind. The Wilburton is perched on a hilltop with sweeping Green Mountain views. There’s historic charm, whimsical art, lush gardens, beautiful rugs. It feels like a family estate, an art museum, and a dreamy retreat all rolled into one. But what truly sets The Wilburton apart isn’t the beauty (though it is ABUNDANT). It’s the people. The team behind the Wilburton…WOW. Meesha, Tajlei, Melissa, Albert, Sarah, Lottie, Valerie, Dexter, Sam, the CHEF!, the housekeeping crew... I don’t know how else to say this. They are literal angels. A full ensemble of guardian angels disguised as event pros, who treat your guests with so much care, warmth, and intention it will leave you speechless. And Meesha…. the heartbeat of your wedding planning! She’s the Wilburton's on-site wedding planner for your entire planning process, but in reality, she goes WELL beyond that role. She is the calm in the storm, a problem solver, and deeply compassionate. She treated our family like her own. When visa issues threatened our international guests’ plans, she worked with Tajlei and Melissa to ensure flexible, stress-free housing. And when our budget felt tight, without us asking, she offered thoughtful ideas to help us save without sacrificing anything. Then there are the moments in the special details. Like when all the shuttles had left and one of our guests missed the bus. Meesha personally drove him home at 1:30am, planning to come back to finish her work. Or how she and her team were somehow everywhere at once, framing table numbers, boxing things up at the end of the night. I have no idea when she did half of it. Meesha just made it all feel seamless. And the entire team at The Wilburton follows that lead. While we were dancing at the reception, they snuck into our bridal suite, cleaned it, organized it, and left it glowing. No clue when they found the time, especially since Meesha was also capturing video snippets from the sidelines to send us. Every vendor gushed about the staff. Every guest adored them. I genuinely wanted Meesha and the team around her as guests in the wedding by the time the big day came! The team absolutely DELIVERS. Dexter’s MASSIVE bonfire on Friday night was the perfect kickoff (the bonfire is a MUST do!). Valerie’s INCREDIBLE warmth and cocktails were handcrafted magic with homegrown ingredients. Tajlei and Melissa made us feel like the property had been waiting for us all along. Even during our tasting weekend, they created an experience that felt personal, thoughtful, and joyful for all the couples. Everywhere we turned, the team added little touches: unwrapping guest blankets, grabbing Advil, offering tables and carpets, hand-delivering gift bags to rooms. There were at least a dozen things I intended to handle, only to find they’d already been done. I’ll never know the full list of behind-the-scenes magic, but I felt it all. That kind of quiet thoughtfulness made the weekend feel easy, magical, and full of love. If you’re looking for the BEST place for a wedding, reunion, event, or even a night away, do yourself a favor and book The Wilburton Inn!!!

Seven ponds was an absolute dream for our wedding. The location itself is breathtaking and gorgeous. To The mountains, the ponds, the farm animals to the tasteful decorations, us and our guests were blown away by the beauty of this venue. Beyond being beautiful, the team at seven ponds farm were incredible. The team is really there for you the whole weekend and to help ensure your wedding is a success. When my husband and I decided to get married, we were extremely overwhelmed and had no idea where to even start with planning such a momentous event. We knew that we wanted the wedding to be intimate (not to many guests), in a setting that was surrounded by trees, and in a location that felt like home. Out of all the wedding venues in Vermont, the Hermitage Inn captured everything we were looking for. A gorgeous space and an attentive staff… making the day feel as effortless as possible. After a short call with the Events Director, Gina, we knew our big day was in good hands. She not only spent multiple hours on the phone with us, but she also provided amazing visuals for us as we were planning this wedding from out of state. I have never met a more dedicated person who works in a hospitality field. Gina is the definition of “going above and beyond” — even meeting us to tour the space on her day off last minute, so we were able to take the big leap in deciding this was our future wedding venue. She puts her entire heart in listening to her couples, understanding their vision, and bringing their dreams to life. And now to the part of the magical touches… this space is truly one that people are passionate to work for. Everyone who works in the space takes time to learn who their patrons are, so much so, that my husband and I has several interactions with the owners Mary Lou and Tim of the Inn before the wedding even occurred. The Hermitage Inn is not just a space where they churn guests in and out… the waiters to the bartenders to the check in staff all knew who we were, and did everything in their power to make the day special. On the day of the wedding, Tim personally delivered lunch to the bridal party and grooms party. The day after the wedding, when picking up our decorations to bring home, Tim himself was walking the grounds and taking care of some landscaping on his own in the quiet hours of the morning. It’s moments like that where you realize you are receiving first class service without the impersonal aspect of larger hotel and venues. On the wedding day itself, everyone was available to help where needed. I was looked in the eye, asked what I needed, and was never made to feel alone or out of sorts. Gina herself took our vision and DIY table settings, flowers, and glassware, and within hours had her entire staff create the space into the vision that we wanted. Lucky for us, we got married in the month of October, so the Hermitage Inn already was decorated with beautiful flowers, pumpkins, and corn stalks to provide additional ambience. The food… my husband and I have eaten at the Inn’s restaurant multiple times, and you are truly in for a treat. The high quality, amazing flavors, are exactly what you are served at your private event as well. I could go on and on about the amazing experience we had with the Hermitage Inn. So many of my guests stated… “this place is like a postcard.” We could not be more impressed with the attention and care we received with our wedding event. Even with a wedding of 30 guests, we were able to have an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception in the gorgeous Birches dining room. We highly recommend this space for a future event or even a weekend away in Southern Vermont. It is now a place where we call ‘home.’ Thank you Tim, Mary Lou, Gina, and the entire staff of the Hermitage Inn for making our day one we will never forget!
