“Long review coming, but I can't help myself. Erin was the best decision of my wedding! I cared about three things for my wedding, and photography was one of them. Finding a photographer was a daunting task since at the end of the day I knew I would leave with two things: my husband and my pictures. From the very beginning, Erin was a delight to work with. Photography, one of my top priorities, became my lowest stressor leading up to my wedding and the day of.
Erin is a phenomenal communicator. She is clear, timely, and respectful. She asked about our photography desires, encouraged questions, and confirmed information to ensure that we achieved what we wanted. Erin always responded quickly which was so helpful when trying to coordinate everything needed for a wedding. The day of the wedding she and her second photographer, Monica (an absolute gem!!), were excellent communicators with all of the adults and children present when relaying what they wanted and needed us to do for photos. They helped with poses and gave amazing feedback (both positive and adjustments needed) throughout the day to help us feel comfortable and get good shots (neither my husband nor myself are natural at posing, but our photos turned out amazing)!
Erin is calm, organized, and KIND (exactly what a couple needs during the planning process and on the wedding day)! Everything was clearly outlined prior to signing a contract. Once signing, you have a login to see all of your information in one place (contract, payments, questionnaire, etc.) which makes it so easy to keep track of everything related to our photography. As a Type A person, I so appreciated how clear and organized all of the information was. She has a second photographer included on the wedding day who helps keep track of the previously-determined photos (confirmed during a phone call) and ensures that everyone is in place so photos don't take a million hours. We were able to complete all pre- and post-ceremony pictures (we had a lot) in about an hour total for both. She was so sweet and made both of us feel unbelievably comfortable. She's someone you'll genuinely want to stay friends with after the wedding!
Both Erin and Monica were so thorough and detailed. Not only did they review everything I didn't know I needed to think about prior to the wedding, but the day of the wedding they handled everything with such attention to detail that it completely removed all pressure from us and our families. Erin and Monica knew the photos we wanted and made sure to get all of them throughout the day. They constantly helped adjust my gown, veil, hair, and poses to ensure that not only the framing and lighting was perfect (which it was), but that there were no little details out of place that would drive OCD me crazy haha. They also brought tremendous equipment that allowed them to shoot multiple ways in multiple lighting scenarios. We were married in an old church, had a reception in a wood-paneled moody, dark room, and finished with photos at the Jefferson Memorial. Every single venue had perfectly lit photos. They both jumped around, walked up and down, switched out cameras, and straight up WORKED (at impeccable speed) to get us so many amazing angles and photos.
On top of everything. Erin helped us create beautiful photo albums for us and our parents. To say Erin is worth the investment is the understatement of the century. We are forever grateful to her for capturing our important day!”
