After exploring a range of mediums in art school, she discovered that flowers combined everything she loved about being an artist. Line, gesture, color and texture suddenly expressed in every single stem. A world of possibilities. She ran her first floral studio in her beloved San Francisco before venturing to the Hudson Valley. There isn’t a day that goes by that she’s not thinking about flowers. Katie's style reflects her free spirit, poetic conscience and her love for the wild spontaneity in nature.
