“It's hard to describe exactly how wonderful of an experience it was to work with Michi and Maya. From the very first moment, they were incredibly professional, friendly, and everything about them gave us confidence that they were the best possible people to photograph the most important day of our lives. It's such a special privilege to have your wedding photographers be so happily in love themselves. They have a uniquely deep understanding of what love is, looks like, and how to capture that through the lens of a camera in such a way that you can easily relive every moment just as clearly as the first time.
We originally hired them just for photography, but decided at the last minute to add videography onto our package (highly recommend having video). We reached out to Maya and she was so helpful in accomodating the last minute addition.
The day of our wedding, "they were like ninjas," to quote one of our more observant guests. Some other photographers try to act as wedding coordinators and end up turning the day into a photoshoot instead of a celebration, but not Michi and Maya. They had a few planned moments of staged/directed pictures, but otherwise their candid photography style turned out to be the most beautiful and authentic representation of a wedding that I've ever seen (ok maybe a bit biased there).
