Wild Blue Acres is a private 20-acre waterfront retreat on the Albemarle Sound, created for couples who want more than a single day — they want a full wedding weekend experience. From the moment you drive through the tree-lined entrance, the property feels secluded, peaceful, and entirely your own. Exchange vows beneath our waterfront pergola as panoramic water views and golden sunsets create a naturally breathtaking backdrop. Host a relaxed rehearsal dinner under the string lights, gather around the bonfire with your favorite people, and linger over coffee the next morning with those who matter most. With exclusive Friday–Sunday access, onsite lodging for up to 14 guests, and the freedom to bring in your own vendors, Wild Blue Acres offers the perfect balance of flexibility and refinement. Elevated yet unpretentious, our venue delivers a true coastal Carolina vibe. We have seating for up to 60 guests, however the property can host up to 100 guests.

Amazing Wedding Venue at Wild Blue Acres
We found this absolute gem after a three minute search on airbnb a couple of years ago. We were looking for a waterfront wedding venue and it absolutely delivered. Lindsay and Ed have created such an amazing and magical space at Wild Blue Acres. We booked it for an entire week and had our immediate family join us at the main and guest houses leading up to the wedding. We played football in the massive yard and games at the kitchen island and at the table, fished off the dock, and enjoyed morning coffee and sunrises and evening wine and sunsets on the decks and dock. We found most of our wedding vendors using their provided vendor list and had the best day ever. Our friends and family are still talking about what a fantastic venue and wedding we had (and we are, too). We cannot recommend this place enough and look forward to returning for future gatherings!

Wild Blue Acres was the perfect venue for our fall wedding. From the start, the team was very responsive and accommodating, helping us with vendor communication and allowing us the use of all their wonderful amenities. This place was just breathtaking - the views of the water, the stunning sunsets, and the sheer amount of space made our day that much more special. We had everything we could have possibly needed, and the quality of the venue was exceptional. The team at Wild Blue Acres truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped place to celebrate their special day.

Wild Blue Acres was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding. From the moment we reached out, the team was quick to respond and easy to work with, making the planning process a breeze. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - the grounds look like they came straight out of a Nicholas Sparks movie, with a beautiful lakefront dock and scenic views that provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. We loved taking photos at sunset and capturing all the unique spots around the property especially the dock. The venue was the perfect size for our micro wedding, with plenty of options for seating and creating the perfect wedding scene. The team's attention to detail and thoughtful service truly made our day extra special. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, scenic, and well-maintained venue to celebrate our marriage.
