About this venue

The Stone Mill 1792 is a historic and intimate wedding and events venue, nestled on 10 acres in the wooded valleys of York County, PA. The venue consists of the original 18th-century mill building, scenic ceremony lawns, and a 3200 square-foot event tent with permanent Brazilian Walnut deck flooring. Over the past decade, “The Mill” has been lovingly restored to provide a perfect blend of 18th-century details, natural beauty and modern amenities, while tucked away in a park-like setting.

Versatile and elegant!

Our extra-large event tent is an extremely versatile space, and is perfectly suited for any event! The permanent deck flooring is great for dancing, and the clear sidewalls and gables let in amazing natural light and views of our landscaped grounds. It is also fully heated, so you stay comfortable, no matter the temperature! This space perfect for ceremonies and receptions, and can be decorated to match any style of decor!

An Amazing Venue for an Amazing Day
If you're looking for a beautiful venue and an amazing team to help bring your vision into reality then you'll want to check out The Stone Mill 1792. It was an instant no-brainer for the perfect venue for our wedding. We were going for a "Colonial Williamsburg" style and venue fit the aesthetic perfectly (I mean, it was built in 1792, after all) and Matthew, Michael and the team were absolutely amazing to work with. They handled every small detail from decor to scheduling everything the day of the wedding and made what we expected to be a stressful event into the easiest, most stress-free process. Everything was so amazing that my wife and I are discussing a divorce just so we can get remarried there again. Thank you, The Stone Mill 1792 team, for making our special day one to always remember!

Only one complaint
My only real complaint is that we can't get married there again without getting a divorce! From our first viewing of The Stone Mill 1792, we knew we'd found something special. We literally signed the same day. The team was helpful and responsive every step of the way, offering genuine insights that helped us plan a day that felt true to who we are. They didn't bat an eyeless when we came up with our absurd little plans. Walking in on our wedding day, we received the warmest welcome I've ever gotten from a venue, and it set the perfect tone for everything that followed. The space itself is hard to describe because it somehow feels both grand and cozy at the same time, with enchanting nooks tucked throughout that made our celebration feel intimate despite the size. Every detail felt atmospheric and intentional, creating an experience our guests are still talking about.

An amazing team to work with on your wedding day
The Stone Mill team did such an amazing job and were an absolute joy to work with. Leading up to the wedding day they were always thoughtful and accommodating. They responded to emails quickly and gave great advice and recommendations when my husband and I had questions. On the day itself - I could not have asked for a better team of people to help us. They not only accommodated us, but they anticipated a lot of our needs, helping us to stay on schedule and keeping the wedding feeling seamless as we moved from event to event. We had given them our decorations the day before the wedding during our rehearsal. On the day of, both my husband and I were rushing around trying to get ready and did not have time to get our decorations setup. Lo and behold, the Stone Mill team had gone out of their way to make sure everything had been put out, and not only had they set everything up, it all looked beautiful. The venue itself is gorgeous, and made for some really amazing photos. There are lots of really great photos spots around the property and even inside the house if you are getting ready there. They also have decorations on-site that you can choose from to use as centerpieces and table decor. This is all included in their wedding package. We gave them some instruction during our decor meeting prior to the wedding, but the Stone Mill Team really went above and beyond to meet our vision. It was an amazing experience working with them. Every single one of their staff members that we interacted with was so kind and thoughtful, and their attention to detail really shines through in all the work they do. I cannot recommend them enough!

Wonderful experience!
We loved how beautiful the venue is! We also loved that there were options for decorations (signs, table numbers, candles) so that we didn’t have to worry about buying things that we won’t use again. Great experience!

Best elopement!
Booking with the Stone Mill for our little elopement was so easy and included everything we needed! We had such a fun time knowing everything was taken care of for us! Great price, even better owners and partners!
