Merino Loft - Wedding
We had the most incredible experience hosting our wedding at Hotel Millwright in Amana, Iowa. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and made for such a perfect setting for our day. We loved that Hotel Millwright offered decor options for the venue, which made planning so much easier and helped elevate the overall look of the space. The food was amazing, and guests were raving about how delicious everything was throughout the reception. It was also a huge plus that the venue is attached to the hotel. The rooms were really nice and unique, and many of our wedding guests stayed there. It made everything so convenient, especially being able to stay on site after the wedding. Shelby, the wedding coordinator at Hotel Millwright, truly made our experience exceptional. She was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire planning process. She answered all of our questions quickly and genuinely helped bring our vision to life. Having her support made everything feel seamless and stress free on the big day. We couldn’t recommend Hotel Millwright more. It was the perfect place to celebrate such a special moment.

The food is delicious! The venue was gorgeous! The preparations and setup were thorough with strong communication with the event manager. On the day of the event, communication with the host was poor and caused a few, minor issues, especially with lighting. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would recommend anyone use Hotel Millwright for their event!

My son recently had his wedding reception at Hotel Millwright. The venue is so unique and beautiful!! The food was incredible. Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Allie Wenger was very responsive, organized, professional, patient and helpful throughout the planning phase. The staff did an amazing job serving us and accommodating any needs we had during the reception. Many guests also stayed at the hotel. The employees at the front desk were so kind and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. I can't say enough about this hotel/wedding venue and highly recommend it to anyone!

I picked Hotel Millwright as our reception venue before we were even engaged! The venue itself is timeless - we used the Merino Loft which features high ceilings, exposed brick, and beautiful tall windows lining the entire space. Not to mention - every corner of the hotel, from its hallways, to ceremony locations, to reception room, is picture perfect. Shelby made the entire planning process seamless from start to finish. To have a venue that offers lodging, ceremony space, reception venue, food & beverage all in one was a huge stressor off of my back. Rather than coordinating with multiple vendors (and ultimately hiring a wedding planner), I was able to do it myself! If you're on the fence, go with Hotel Millwright.
