About this venue
As Chittenden County's only full-service resort, we are uniquely positioned to provide you and your guests with an unforgettable wedding experience in one of two beautiful and distinct venues. The Atrium at The Essex is a stunning and modern room with gorgeous views of the surrounding greenery. The Farmhouse at Sunset Pond is a modern Vermont farmhouse-style building situated on the pond at The Essex. Onsite, The Resort offers a full-service spa and salon, indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, tennis courts, cooking classes and two restaurants. The Links at Lang Farm is a fantastic golf course directly across from our property. We are a quick 15 minutes from the Burlington International Airport and offer shuttle service from the airport upon request at a minimal cost. We truly strive to provide everything to make you and your guests enjoy an extraordinary and relaxing weekend.

For classic elegance, the Ballroom serves as a timeless backdrop for dinner and dancing. More intimate gatherings find a home in the sunlit Salons or the cozy, private dining rooms. Outdoors, the East Lawn features a charming white gazebo, perfect for saying "I do" surrounded by vibrant Vermont florals and mountain air.
