Built in 1909 and meticulously restored, The Ballroom at the Commercial Club is a one-of-a-kind wedding venue in the heart of Downtown Salt Lake City. Set within the landmark Commercial Club Building, the space has been thoughtfully revived to offer couples a timeless setting with a true sense of occasion. A grand ballroom with hand-frescoed ceilings, an inviting lobby, and private suites create an elegant backdrop for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and celebrations of every style. The venue’s open vendor policy allows couples the freedom to choose their own catering, décor, and bar partners.

The Ballroom

The heart of the building, featuring classic vaulted ceilings, elegant moldings, and dimmable chandeliers.

Soaring hand-frescoed ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, a built-in bar, and original architectural details set a refined, romantic backdrop for weddings of every style. Dimmable chandeliers create a warm, customizable glow, and the open floorplan transitions effortlessly from ceremony to reception, dinner, and dancing.

Grand Lobby

An elegant welcome and gathering space.

The lobby offers two entrances—a terracotta archway and a wheelchair-accessible entry—welcoming guests into a space featuring carved details, fluted pillars, mosaic floors, and frescoed ceilings. A marble staircase and two elevators, including a restored period car, connect to the upper levels, with the lobby doubling as additional reception space when needed.
