What is the process for reserving a rental space?

All dates are first come, first serve. A signed contract and payment of the deposit will secure your date.

Can I choose my own vendors?

Accepted Answer

Other Vendors: You may choose your own DJ, florist, photographer, etc. Each outside vendor will need to be additionally insured covering the City of Oviedo for 1 million dollars. All catered functions at the Cultural Center must use a food service provider, an approved caterer, or, under certain conditions as defined in sub-section b, an approved self-catered event. Contact Venue for more information.

Can I decorate the space?

Decorations are permitted within reason and must be approved by Cultural Center management. Decorations are permitted only in the space you have reserved. It is the responsibility of the renter to remove all decorations immediately after your event. Contact venue for details.

Can I bring alcoholic beverages?

Accepted Answer

All alcoholic beverages must be served via your selected caterer. For non-catered, weekday events only, beer and wine are permitted with proof of liability insurance as well as a $500 alcohol deposit. Plans to serve alcohol at your event must be expressed when completing the rental agreement.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Do you have on-site parking?

There is parking around the venue. There is also a large, open lot, within walking distance.

Do you have accessible facilities?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.
