Lakewood Country Club’s historic Spanish-style clubhouse adjoins a sprawling garden lawn lavished with foliage. Outdoor ceremonies are lovely on this manicured expanse, with flowering borders and trees providing natural adornment. Brides make their entrance from the spacious bridal suite on the second floor of the clubhouse where they’ve dressed in comfort and style. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds are whisked away to pose for photos amid the beautiful lakes and greenery. Meanwhile, guests are welcomed inside a Saltillo-tiled foyer for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. This vintage-influenced interior courtyard leads to three separate, and quite different, room options for your reception. Our premier event facilities are complemented by our experienced team of on-site catering and event team available to help you plan and host your event.

A wonderfully airy and light-filled space, thanks to a cathedral ceiling and open beams. The Hacienda Room can accommodate up to 85 people, and overlooks our Wedding Garden, where guests take in the the rose-scented breeze.

Fireside Room

For something cozier

The marvelously intimate Fireside Room retains many details of the original building, including a decorative hearth decked with flickering candles for a romantic glow. The space comfortably fits up to 60 guests and the angular lines of an interior roof, complete with eaves and Spanish tiles, add to the Fireside Room’s nostalgic atmosphere.

    My husband and I attended their Wedding and Event Showcase to check out local vendors and ended up booking our entire wedding that day! Our original plan was to do a courthouse wedding and a small reception at our home but changed our mind after touring the venue. We fell in love with the Fireside Room. It was cozy, dim with Spanish-style vibes, perfect for a moody romantic wedding I had envisioned our wedding to be. We even decided to have our ceremony on the golf course at First Tee. It was perfect for us and our guests to have both in the same venue. What really convinced us to have our wedding here were our coordinators, Jennifer Flores and Carina Martinez. They were so kind and helpful from the first day we met at the Showcase all the way through to our wedding day. We were on a tight budget and had only two months to plan our 50-guest wedding. They had many different options to choose from. Carina was very patient and helped us choose the package best for us. We could not have asked for a better team. We are so grateful to them and the rest of the team for making our day special. An honorable mention goes to the Director of Food and Beverage, Mr. Jose Chavez. He was amazing! He made sure our menu for our guests was perfect, our His & Hers signature cocktails were exactly how we wanted them, the tables layout, everything! Kudos to him and his bartenders. They did an amazing job the day of our wedding as well as Carina, who stayed until the very end to make sure everything went smoothly. We cannot thank them enough. For the reception dinner we chose the plated meal service and chose the grilled chicken breast with a garlic cream sauce and the braised short rib, mashed potatoes and vegetables. Our guests had the option to choose chicken or beef for dinner. The food was delicious. Our favorite was the braised short rib. We offered our guests a one hour hosted cocktail hour while we took our photos by the lake, prior to entering the Fireside Room for dinner. We highly recommend this venue for weddings and other celebrations. It is a beautiful venue with many options. You will not regret it!

    I had the absolute pleasure of working with Jennifer Flores and Carina Martinez, the incredible wedding coordinators at Lakewood Country Club, for my wedding on October 11, 2025 and I can truly say it was a dream come true. From the very beginning, Jennifer and Carina were patient, visionary, and incredibly kind. They guided us through every step of the planning process from the tasting to the final details with grace and professionalism. Their attention to detail and calm demeanor made the entire experience stress-free and joyful. The venue itself was everything I had hoped for: romantic, elegant, and perfectly suited to our celebration. The dance floor was electric, the ambiance flawless, and the flow of the evening was seamless. My guests are still raving about the short ribs, my brother even asked for seconds! Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make our day special. Their warmth and enthusiasm were contagious, and their dedication ensured that everything ran without a hitch. I wholeheartedly recommend Lakewood Country Club to any couple looking for a top-tier wedding experience. Jennifer, Carina, and the entire team are simply the best. I loved my day, and I’ll cherish the memories forever.
