We will pay attention to all the details, so you can relax and enjoy your wedding day. Our clubhouse accommodates the bride before the wedding, providing a tranquil space to get ready for the ceremony. The spa can also provide a custom package for the bride and the wedding party to suit their needs. The groom and his party have the option of enjoying a round of golf before getting ready in a private clubhouse space. If desired, a delicious lunch option is available for both the couple and the wedding party.

Wedding
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding! From start to finish, the entire experience at Golden Ocala was seamless, organized, and enjoyable. Having catering, bar service, and Georgina acting as our planner/coordinator included all in one place made the planning process so much less stressful. She has lots of ideas and recommendations and was very open to working with ours as well. We met with their team several times leading up to the wedding for our food tasting, layout planning through their easy-to-use online platform, and selecting chairs, linens, and table décor. Every meeting left us feeling confident and excited. The online seating tool was especially helpful – we could assign each guest, track meal choices, and note dietary restrictions, and they were very flexible in accommodating those needs. Communication was always prompt, and budgeting was clear with different packages to choose from. The venue itself is beautiful, with multiple ceremony options – garden, pond, covered porte cochere, or indoors – plus an updated and spacious ballroom with a veranda and bar area. There was plenty of parking, clear signage, elevator access, and a weather backup plan, which gave us peace of mind. What truly set them apart was their attention to detail. They took care of things we did not even think about – like adding pearl overlays to the tables after noticing the pearl detailing on my dress. It was such a thoughtful touch and tied everything together beautifully. Georgina also created our personalized welcome sign and seating chart sign, which made everything look cohesive and polished. We were allowed to store items and bring our cake in advance, and they gave us access to the getting-ready suites all day, including serving us brunch. On the wedding day, we felt hands-off as they coordinated with our outside vendors and ensured everyone was aligned and on schedule. Everything ran smoothly, and we were able to fully enjoy the day with our family and friends. We highly recommend Golden Ocala to anyone looking for a beautiful space, excellent service, and a team that genuinely goes above and beyond.

I would like to take this time to complete a review for Mrs. Georgina Rarick at the Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Country Club. Ryan and the staff were amazing! Never have I received such thoughtfulness and generosity. The event was my 70th birthday party which was unforgettable. My quests are still talking about the location and the food preparation. I’m grateful for the memories we made and Georgina’s presence at the party. I felt loved, important and appreciated as the staff was on point with myself and my guests. Nothing was left unturned as they thought of everything that made this party awesome. The gratitude I feel for everyone from severs, bartender and especially Ryan who answered every detail including my concern if my cake arrived without a plate to be placed on. Ryan assured me no worries as they had anything I needed for my special birthday. Hospitality is a new word as everyone was striving to be the best, and it showed. I see that they had done this great job before and it was something that came naturally to them. Georgina was the star of the event not myself as she planned the event and told me I would be very pleased with the results. Georgina was not kidding, I loved it! From the ballroom, decorations to the food as well as the music, this party was the best. Photography was arranged with the help again of Georgina, may I say again how amazing she is. The professional staff and the awesome planner you have at the Golden Ocala Gulf and Equestrian Country Club is unmistakably the best I have ever seen and will recommend to everyone who has expectations of the highest for their event.
