We cannot say enough wonderful things about Melissa and everything she did for us as our wedding coordinator at the Beauport. From day one, she went truly above and beyond. Always available to answer questions, offering guidance, and helping us think through every single detail (including things we didn’t even know to consider). Her calm, organized, and thoughtful approach made the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free.

On the wedding day itself, everything ran perfectly, and that is 100% thanks to Melissa’s expertise and care. The Beauport venue was absolutely stunning and exceeded our expectations in every way. The wait staff and bar staff were phenomenal! They were professional, attentive, friendly, and incredibly on top of everything all night long. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how amazing the service was.

Truly, every single staff member from the concierge to the valet played a role in making our experience exceptional. Everyone was welcoming, organized, and genuinely kind, which made both us and our guests feel so well taken care of from start to finish.

We felt completely supported and confident knowing Melissa was in charge. Beauport is an incredible venue, but it’s the people especially Melissa who make it truly unforgettable. We are beyond grateful and couldn’t recommend the Beauport and their team more highly.

2025 winter wedding 

Melissa at the Beauport Hotel was on top of everything, ensuring our wedding day went off without a hitch. The venue itself was an incredible space - beautiful and truly special. They went above and beyond to make our day feel intimate and memorable, even pulling us into a private side room for a quiet 15 minutes together with our own happy hour drinks and food amidst the craziness. Our guests raved about the incredible food, saying it was the best they'd ever had at a wedding. The Beauport's coordinator, Melissa, was absolutely terrific and helped make our wedding day perfect from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and team to celebrate our special day.

My husband and I chose Beauport as our wedding venue and it was everything we could have wanted and more! Our wedding coordinator Melissa was so pleasant to work with and really knew the answers to all of our questions, helping to relieve a lot of the wedding planning stress. She was quick to respond to emails and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy during planning as well as during our wedding! We had received numerous compliments from our guests regarding the passed hors d'oeuvres and plated dinner choices and on how beautiful the hotel is as a whole! We are excited to celebrate our wedding anniversaries at Beauport Hotel over the years and reflect on our special day each time we visit. Highly highly recommend this hotel for your Gloucester stay and if you are considering it as your wedding venue!!

We had our wedding at the Beauport Hotel and could not have been happier with our choice of venue. From the initial tour to the final send off, the staff was professional, responsive, and truly fantastic at communication. They answered all our questions thoroughly and promptly via email, phone, and in person. The ballroom was beautiful and the food was delicious. Our guests raved about what a great venue it was. Beauport in Gloucester, Massachusetts, exceeded every expectation as the backdrop for our winter wedding. From the breathtaking views to the impeccable service, every aspect of our special day was flawlessly executed.

First and foremost, our onsite coordinator, Shannon, deserves the highest praise. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and warmth made us feel like we were in capable hands from the moment we began planning. She was instrumental in ensuring that every aspect of our wedding day went smoothly, and her expertise was evident every step of the way. Shannon truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect, and for that, we are immensely grateful. She is undoubtedly a perfect 10 in our book.

Despite being a winter wedding, Beauport's private beach provided a stunning backdrop for our wedding photos. The snow-covered coastline added a magical touch to our pictures, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The venue's picturesque surroundings truly captured the essence of our special day, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting.

The food at Beauport was nothing short of exceptional. From the hors d'oeuvres to the main course, each dish was expertly prepared and presented with care. Our guests raved about the quality and variety of the menu, and many commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted. The culinary team at Beauport truly outdid themselves, and we were thrilled to treat our guests to such a memorable dining experience.

Last but not least, the live band kept the party going all night long. Their energetic performance had everyone on their feet, dancing and celebrating until the very end. The band's talent and enthusiasm added an extra layer of excitement to our reception, and their music provided the perfect soundtrack for our special day.
