Since 2017, Barn Star Events has been holding weddings and events in the great smokey moutains of Waynesville NC. The exposed wood, plentiful natural backdrops and the serenity of a simplier way of life surrounding the venue gives it a laid back, natural vibe you wont find anywhere else. The historic 1940s angus cattle and tabacco barn still in the orginal family was restored with updated ammedinities including handicapped restrooms, bridal suite, drooms den, prep kitchen, and sound system. The combination of old world charm and modern conveniences ensures the perfect look you desire with the practicalities needed.

Barn Star Events was a great choice for our wedding venue. The communication with the venue coordinators was quick and easy - they responded to all of our questions promptly and were very helpful throughout the planning process. The venue itself was a large, versatile space that provided excellent value. Our guests raved about the beautiful barn setting and the ample room for our reception. The team at Barn Star Events ensured our wedding day went off without a hitch. We highly recommend this venue for couples looking for a spacious, affordable option with great customer service.

Yes, we charge $400 additional for alcohol, beer and wine only that the client provides, this includes a licensed bartender.

Friday 11am-8pm and Saturday 9am-11pm $5000.00 Saturday only is $3,500 with access to venue 9am-11pm. Sunday only 9am-9pm is $3000.00 This includes tables, chairs, white table clothes, bridal suite, man cave, prep kitchen for caterers, parking attendants for guests and sound system. We can seat up to 140 people in the venue, max at 175 with outdoor seating. We set up the chairs for outdoor ceremony 175 max. We have a few other tables for buffet, cake, and sign in table. We do require day of insurance that usually runs around $150. Alcohol is an additional $400 beer and wine only, provided by client and licensed bartender included.

We are about 45 minutes from Asheville airport, take I-26, to I-40w to exit 20. We are 3 miles on the left.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 40 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges.

Most wedding rentals get full day access, 9am-11pm. Any additional time will be billed at $250 per hour.
