Leadership and Operations has failed this venue
This venue used to be one of the most classy and desirable places to get married. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. The property now feels completely run down and poorly maintained. At a recent event, a fellow vendor shared that the kitchen conditions were so filthy she refused to eat anything prepared there and chose to go hungry instead. That alone speaks volumes about the current state of operations behind the scenes. Leadership also appears to be a major issue. The General Manager, Kaylin Garcia, comes across as inexperienced and unprepared to manage a venue of this caliber. The environment feels more like a college campus than a professional event space, with ongoing reports of unprofessional staff behavior, employees drinking on the job, and inappropriate relationships creating visible workplace drama. That type of culture should never spill into client or vendor experiences. The venue hosts events multiple times a week, which makes it very clear the focus has shifted to money over client experience. When events are happening back-to-back daily, it raises serious concerns about how thoroughly the space is cleaned, reset, and refreshed for each couple’s wedding day. It’s disappointing because this venue truly was special years ago under previous management. The decline is noticeable, and until significant operational and leadership changes are made, I would not recommend hosting a wedding or event here.

Ashton Gardens in Atlanta was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first toured the space, we knew it was the magical setting we had been searching for. The communication with their team, especially our day-of coordinator, was excellent throughout the planning process. She listened closely to our feedback and wishes, and executed everything flawlessly on the big day. The venue itself is simply beautiful and elegant, with stunning chandeliers, high ceilings, and gorgeous landscaping. Our guests were in awe of the space and the delicious food. Ashton Gardens truly made our wedding day feel like a dream come true. We are so grateful to have celebrated our special day in such a beautiful and well-run venue.

The best decision we could have made was to select Ashton Gardens (Atlanta) as the gorgeous venue for our wedding celebration! From the first moment we entered the amazing chapel at Ashton Gardens, we knew that it was the perfect place to celebrate such a momentous occasion. The entire staff at Ashton Gardens is pleasant, professional, and personable. The Ashton Gardens team went above and beyond to make the wedding planning process seamless and stress-free! In addition, the awesome packages available made it possible for our wedding ceremony and reception to far exceed our expectations! We feel grateful to have been paired with our phenomenal wedding coordinator, Autumn Hunter. Autumn’s incredible organization skills ensured that every detail was executed with precision. Autumn is extremely poised, and her outstanding professionalism made our wedding an amazing celebration for our loved ones and friends. Autumn is always calm and composed. Her level-headed demeanor made it possible for her to anticipate our needs with excellence. Autumn truly went above and beyond to make our wedding dreams a reality! In addition, the culinary team at Ashton Gardens is absolutely amazing. Our guests raved about the delicious appetizers, entrees, and signature cocktails. The quality and presentation were certainly outstanding. The entire experience of our wedding celebration was enhanced by the extraordinary entertainment staff. Our skillful disc jockey Rodrekus Moss definitely kept the party going all night. Our guests did not want to leave the dance floor! Additionally, the fantastic 360-degree photo booth experience provided lovely mementos that we continue to watch again and again. Moreover, the grand exit, complete with a luxurious vehicle and glistening sparklers made our wedding day truly magnificent! My husband and I got married at Ashton Gardens on November 9th, and everything was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we booked, the team at Ashton Gardens made the planning process smooth and stress-free with periodic check-ins and planning suggestions. The venue’s all-inclusive nature was the biggest blessing, giving us peace of mind and allowing us to focus on enjoying our big day rather than worrying about the details and coordinating with vendors. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Ciera Wilson, our day-of coordinator. She stepped in during the final weeks after our original coordinator departed, and her professionalism and warmth made the transition seamless. Ciera was attentive to every detail, did what needed to be done, and ensured that we had nothing to worry about. She truly went above and beyond to make our day flawless! Additionally, the serving staff was equally phenomenal—friendly, accommodating, and always one step ahead. From the setup to the last toast, the Ashton Gardens team showed a level of attentiveness and care that exceeded our expectations. One thing to note: make sure your timeline aligns with the venue’s standard hours. We had to purchase additional time to fit the entirety of our wedding timeline, but the team worked with us to make the process simple and hassle-free. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The stunning venue, the incredible staff, and the seamless coordination made our wedding everything we dreamed of.
