My name is Katie Cole, and I am the Founder/Head Planner at Palmetto River Planning. I have been planning weddings and events since 2021, and decided to establish my own company in Spring of 2024. I am trustworthy, honest, dedicated, and am known for paying close attention to detail. With a passion for this industry, it is my personal goal to make every couple a member of the Palmetto River family and ensure that all our couple's have a worry-free and magical day.

I am dedicated, trust-worthy, pay a great attention to detail, fun, and organized! I am big on great communication and love helping my clients. I truly take the time to get to know all my clients and become part of their family!

    Palmetto River Planning is AMAZING

    My husband and I cannot get over how perfect our wedding was, and Palmetto River Planning was a huge part of our amazing day. Right off the bat, Katie was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and easy to get a hold of. I think almost every email I sent her was responded to within a couple hours. And then our day-of coordinator, Sam, was phenomenal. Sam was professional, prepared, knowledgeable, calm, had an amazing eye for detail, and was an absolute delight to work with. She coordinated all of our vendors, her day-of timeline was perfectly organized, and she didn't let a single issue or worry get to my husband or I on the day of our wedding. Sam was truly amazing. She orchestrated our rehearsal walk through the night before, she was incredibly communicative and anticipated our every need the day of (and in the weeks leading up!), and the decor she set up at our venue looked phenomenal--literally took our breath away. We sought out a coordinator who would make sure we felt like guests of honor versus hosts and Sam and Palmetto River Planning truly went above and beyond. I would recommend them to any one in a heartbeat.

    From the first moment I met Katie at Palmetto River Planning, it felt like she was my best friend! She kept everyone and everything in check throughout the planning process and on the wedding day, all while maintaining a fun and upbeat attitude. Palmetto River Planning's communication was quick, clear, and incredibly helpful - they were true partners in making our special day perfect.     Palmetto River Planning was a fantastic choice for our wedding coordinator. From the start, Katie’s communication was straightforward, quick, and to the point - exactly what we needed to keep our planning on track. The quality of her work and value was outstanding - she was easy to work with, detail-oriented, and ensured our day was well-structured. We were really lucky to find them, as we initially didn't realize how important it is to have a coordinator. Katie and her team were incredibly accommodating to our special requests - given I come from a different culture where we do weddings slightly different - and last-minute changes, always present and facilitated well!
