Working with Liz Ashley Events was such a relief from start to finish. Absolute lifesaver — swooped right in
I was a DIY bride who thought I could handle day-of on my own until about four weeks out when I completely panicked. Loud, colorful, and completely us
As a same-sex couple we really wanted a planner who got us and our vision without us having to explain ourselves. Liz was that from the very first call. I actually trusted her completely

I've planned and coordinated hundreds of events over the years, from intimate elopements to large-scale weddings and corporate galas with 4,000+ guests. My experience spans weddings, nonprofit events, birthday celebrations, bachelorette weekends, holiday parties, and corporate functions across the Kansas City metro. I was voted KC's Best Wedding Planner by The Pitch in 2024, and I work with a trusted network of 400+ local vendors.

Absolutely! While weddings are a big part of what I do, I plan all kinds of events. That includes bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, bachelorette weekends, corporate events, nonprofit galas, birthday parties, holiday parties, and milestone celebrations. If you're planning a wedding with me, I'm happy to coordinate your other events too so everything feels cohesive and stress-free.

It depends on your planning level! For full-service clients, we'll have regular check-ins throughout the planning process, usually monthly calls or meetings that ramp up as the wedding gets closer. For day-of coordination, we typically start with a detailed planning session about a month out, do a final walkthrough at the venue, and then I'm with you all day on the event itself. I'm always available by phone, email, or text between meetings.

I only take one wedding per day so I can give your event my full, undivided attention. Your day deserves 100% of my focus, and that's exactly what you'll get. I do sometimes book events on different days of the same weekend, but never two on the same day. I recommend booking early to secure your date, especially for peak wedding season.
