Jason Mitchell Kahn and his team plan weddings for brides, grooms and those who don't identify with titles. Jason began working full time as a wedding planner after the 2014 launch of his new book GETTING GROOMED: THE ULTIMATE WEDDING PLANNER FOR GAY GROOMS, published by Chronicle Books. He's been featured in the NY Times and Brides Magazine has named him one of the Best Planners in the country. Jason brings to weddings his passion for drama honed from his career and education in theatre. Jason approaches all weddings with his playwriting background: What is the couple’s version of their most beautiful story to be told?
We love collaboration and are proud to celebrate how love and marriage look different on all couples. We do weddings of all different scales. Jason planned our dream wedding!
We had a wonderful wedding weekend planned by Jason and his team! We couldn't have imagined a more magical, spontaneous, and perfect wedding celebrating our love. From the moment we met Jason, we knew we wanted to work with him and that he could make our vision of a unique, bright, fun, and romantic wedding come to life. He and his team more than delivered. They presented creative and fabulous ideas, found the best vendors for us to choose from, and were genuinely a delight to plan a wedding with. They were incredibly responsive and helpful in the months leading up to our wedding, and we couldn’t imagine what the planning experience would have been like without them. The onsite team was so supportive through the weekend and created the coolest wig bar our guests have ever seen! We're still hearing from so many of our guests that it was the best, most unique wedding they've ever been to, and it was flawlessly executed by the entire JMK team! We keep saying that Jason planned the dream wedding we never knew we envisioned — it was truly beyond what we could have imagined!

We can’t express enough gratitude for finding Jason and his team.
