Hello! My name is Michaela Garza and I just moved to Houston from Nebraska! I have been doing wedding pictures for 7 years, photography for 10, and I love to capture genuine love and sweet moments throughout the day. I live in The Woodlands, but have done weddings in Idaho, Kansas, Chicago, South Dakota, Nebraska, and North Carolina and would love to travel! I am a full time Speech-Language Pathologist and really love my job a lot. My goal for photography is to capture beauty and be captivated by True Love Himself.

I love my job, and tend to cry at every wedding because love is beautiful. Your wedding day is about celebrating your love and I am always honored to be a part of it. I am very easy going and calm, but can also keep us on schedule and happy! I really value getting to know my couples and making sure the pictures reflect them and their love. My husband Jacob is my assistant photographer and we love doing weddings together.

    Michaela is AMAZING. She photographed our gender reveal/pregnancy announcement and our maternity shoot, and every single photo is stunning. She has such a gift for capturing genuine moments. She is also incredible with kids — my toddler loved her and had so much fun! Even when things felt chaotic, she captured the most beautiful, heartfelt images that we’ll treasure forever. She also gets it done quickly, which is important when littles are involved! Highly recommend!
