a photographer who feels like family
If you’re looking for a wedding photographer and/or videographer in Orlando, look no further. Seriously. We did the rounds looking at people for our wedding at the Dr. Phillips Center, and Johnny (The Roots and Stones) was just head and shoulders above everyone else. We didn't want the typical stiff wedding photos where everyone looks like a mannequin. We wanted the real stuff with the messy, raw, "in-between" moments with our family and friends. Johnny’s work is all about that and at no point did anything feel forced or rigid. We met up with him about a month before the wedding and it was like we’d been friends forever. That rapport is so important because things could have felt awkward, but instead he made us feel relaxed and comfortable while he was shooting. He also has this great personal flair and is just a genuinely generous guy, as evidenced by him dedicating his entire weekend to us and coming out to our welcome party the night before just to catch those first hugs and "oh my god!" moments when people arrived. He’s unique, creative, and used a mix of everything along the way, with film cameras and old-school 90s camcorders to get shots that blew our minds. He also worked perfectly with our planner behind the scenes so we didn't have to manage a thing. Perhaps most impressive, Johnny had all of the photos and video edited and delivered to us within 60 days of our wedding - way earlier than we expected. Our wedding video is absolutely amazing- he had us crying and feeling all the wedding feels over again. We cannot recommend Johnny and his team more!!! Thank you Johnny!!!

Oh man, I can not recommend Johnny and his team enough. When I began looking for a photographer I wanted to find someone who can support a large wedding, video and photography, and who can fit into our day. I can’t express how supported, seen and prioritized I felt the entire way. From the first call, to engagement photos, to the day alone, Johnny was constantly communicating with me and was so patient along the way. Johnny also made it such a point to deliver the teaser video, completed photos, and final video in a timely manner so I could celebrate with my family and friends.
