I am a Chicago-based wedding + elopement photographer. I am available worldwide and love to travel! I document genuine moments for couples, no matter who they love. My images are the perfect mix of posed and photojournalistic, giving you gorgeous portraits without missing the important, candid moments you will want to remember for years to come. My approach to wedding days is simple: I want to make sure you have images of you two that you love and cherish and tell your wedding day story.

I do so much more than take photos. I believe in giving you an unmatched experience so that you are taken care of from inquiry to delivery of your final gallery and beyond. I do so much more than show up on your wedding day and snap some photos. My heart and soul are in this with you. As an LGBTQ+ person, I know the importance of accepting couples of all races, religions, genders, sexual orientations, and backgrounds.     Tawny was wonderful to work with! From the start, she took the time to really understand what we wanted and helped us build a timeline that made sense for photos and for the flow of the day. We also did our engagement shoot with her, which was a great chance to get to know her a little before the day of, since you spend so much of your time with your photographer on your wedding day. Her second photographer, Claire, was really great too! As a queer vendor, she made us feel so comfortable. She captured everything beautifully, from the big moments, the tiny ones, and all the candid magic in between. During the ceremony and reception, we barely noticed they were there, yet somehow they got some of our favorite shots of the whole day. We’re obsessed with our photos and so grateful for Tawny!

    Tawny was an absolute joy to work with and an incredible photographer. From start to finish, she was timely, professional, and incredibly thoughtful. On our wedding day, she gently helped keep us on track with our timeline while also offering flexible, creative alternatives whenever scheduling needed to shift. Something we appreciated more than we can say. She truly listened to our personal requests and made sure every photo we mentioned was captured, which made the experience feel very intentional and personal. Tawny’s photography style is exactly what you see in her portfolio: timeless, beautiful, and full of emotion. The photos we received are lifelong keepsakes we will treasure forever. As a queer couple, it was incredibly important to us to work with someone who was LGBTQ friendly, affirming, and made us feel completely comfortable being ourselves. Tawny created a welcoming, inclusive environment from the very beginning, and being local to Chicago was an added bonus that made coordination seamless. We were married in October 2025, and choosing Tawny was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I genuinely hope to work with her again in the future for other photography needs and would recommend her wholeheartedly to any couple.

    I’ve worked along side of Tawny for many years now in the bridal industry. Asking Tawny to do my maternity photos was a no brainer. I love her style of photography.     I came across Tawny a few years ago when she was tagged on another Instagram page that I followed. I was immediately drawn to her style, and her inclusiveness as a photographer. I knew someday, when the time came for me to get married, that Tawny would be on the short list. After getting engaged and beginning our vendor search, Tawny's attention to detail, and personalization of her services stood out amongst all the other inquiries we sent out. Something as simple as the personalized video she sent us after our initial inquiry, detailing her packages and what she felt would be best based on what we were looking for. When we finally met for our engagement shoot this past February, we had an instant connection! Tawny was so inclusive, and captured our vision so perfectly that we could not wait until wedding day! This past weekend, we had the pleasure of spending the entire day with her, and as a bride, the biggest piece of advice I can give other brides is to choose vendors who you vibe with, and want to spend your whole day with! I would get married a million times over if Tawny was going to be on my team!
