I love showcasing your love in the foreground while also highlighting the beauty of the background. I love epic scenery, color blocking, and a variety of poses. My job is to make you feel comfortable and get some beautiful shots for you at an affordable rate!

I offer hourly rates to make my sessions and weddings more affordable for my couples! I am also a people pleaser. I always make sure to get the shots *you* want. I am an ally to ALL couples and believe representation is important. I want to represent all couples. LGBTQ+ and BIPOC couples; Love is Love.

Could not recommend Stephanie More!
We booked Stephanie for our engagement shoot as well as our wedding and we were absolutely blown away by our photos. Stephanie was incredible at directing us, getting creative shots that I would have never expected, and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. She was a great communicator and made sure we knew what was happening from day 1 as I never felt surprised or confused on next shots/ what was coming next. Overall, I couldn’t recommend Stephanie enough. Thank you so much Steph!

We Love Stephanie!!
From the moment we booked Stephanie Mathena Photography, we knew we were in good hands. Stephanie's communication style is responsive, thoughtful, thorough, and kind throughout the entire process. Her work is truly exceptional - she delivered our photos with a quick turnaround time, was incredibly flexible and creative, and patient with us as we navigated the stresses of wedding planning. On the day of our wedding, a few unexpected challenges arose, but Stephanie adapted effortlessly and took all the pressure off capturing the perfect photos. She provided wonderful guidance and resources to help us envision the shots we wanted, and the final results are breathtaking. Stephanie is the best!
We were so lucky to work with Stephanie for our engagement photos and for our wedding. She did an outstanding job. She is professional, personable, and a joy to work with. She made us feel at ease every step of the way, and rolled with the punches on our wedding day. We were so pleased with the photos we got back and would highly recommend her.

Incredible— everything you hope for
Stephanie was FANTASTIC. Especially as a first time bride you don’t want to be worrying about other people doing their jobs. You want someone who will lead and provide direction. We never met in person prior to the wedding and I was a bit nervous about how comfortable I’d feel in front of the camera but her warm and playful demeanor quickly dissolved my nervousness. Stephanie snagged the best shots that captured so much play, love, and joy. I loved that she sent me ALL the pictures. There’s so many I love that I would’ve lost out on if I were limited to a certain amount.

Simply Amazing
Communication with Stephanie Mathena Photography was top notch all the way. They worked hard the entire evening to capture every special moment of our wedding day. Stephanie had the perfect advice for picture poses that resulted in stunning photos we will cherish forever. She maintained a very good attitude about everything, which put us at ease throughout the day. I would definitely use Stephanie Mathena Photography again in the future.
