The photographer for film lovers. I'm a film believer that film belongs at weddings: Polaroids, 35mm, 120, Super8... you don't need to worry about the logistics: just enjoy your day + I'll make the magic. I'm Pittsburgh based but most of my work is destination, so weather you're getting married in your parent's backyard or a chateau in France: I'd love to make photos for you that help you savor this day for a lifetime!

I shoot a TON of film at weddings, there's no add on fee for film: I balance film and digital together so you have the clarity of your day and that sweet magic imperfection of film. Super8 films available as an add on (or you can just hire me for video!)

    The perfect photographer and videographer

    Nellie is a professional and friendly photographer and videographer with a true passion for her craft. Her love of film photography shines through in her photos and videos, and we are constantly blown away from both our candid and portrait photos and videos. The planning was seamless and easy, and the wedding day felt fully captured thanks to Nellie and Leah, one of her secondary photographers. I would recommend Nellie to anyone, but especially to those that want to earnestly and sincerely capture the love story that is a wedding.

    Nellie is a DREAM to work with and her work is A

    Nellie is my dream-come-true wedding photographer. When I saw her work online – especially her focus on film and Super 8 video – I knew I had to work with her. When the day came and she basically ran the show, managed a huge crowd, and got incredible photos out of it, I was incredibly impressed. And when Nellie hand-delivered our wedding album to our home, I was touched beyond words. I can't recommend her highly enough. From start to finish, she's an A choice through and through. She's a true artist and an absolute pro. Don't look anywhere else for your photographer!

    Nellie is a genuine artist!

    Nellie is not just a photographer but an artist. She puts so much creative effort into her work and mixes film and digital to give her final gallery a unique twist different from the regular photographer. She also adds in gifs and they’re so cute! Another thing she offers is Super 8 films of your wedding day and if you don’t book her for photo, definitely book her for a Super 8 video of your day. She is so sweet and kind and puts special care into getting to know you and makes the wedding day go smoothly with no drama. If you want beautiful art filled candid memories for your wedding or engagement and the nicest photographer ever, Nellie is your girl!

    Hire Nellie!!!!

    Nellie is phenomenal!! I hired her for my wedding. She was amazing. Showed up early, was there to capture all the little details I would have completely forgot about. She is very creative and captures the most beautiful moments! She is everything that you would want in a photographer. Very professional, but also is fun and puts you at ease, and your pictures come out magical!! Absolutely loved working with her!!
