I live with my husband Clayton, our two little kids, & our sweet little puppy, Xander. I love coffee, seltzer, attempting to learn to play the guitar, & wine. Mainly, I live & breathe weddings. I adore the challenge & joy of shooting your wedding day- capturing every little moment of your day is my very own marathon and I absolutely live for it. So much so that if you want to share every wedding detail with me, prior to the big day, I'm all for it!

I'm very take charge when needed- and very behind the scenes candid when not! I think the most important thing is to not change the day -- but still provide incredible memories. Basically, I get stuff done- as efficiently as possible while still creating all the magic needed!

Above and beyond!
All it took was one phone call with Kelsey to know that she was the right photographer for us and that we would be in good hands. After speaking with several photographers, Kelsey stood out for her approachable demeanor, communication skills, and honesty. We immediately felt at ease with Kelsey and decided her photography style and personality were a good match for us. She was realistic about expectations and honest about not up-selling (e.g., she said there was no need for a second photographer and that she would be able to cover the event on her own). Kelsey made good on all of her posted timelines and the quality of the photos absolutely met our expectations. We were able to give Kelsey a shot list that we hoped to get, and Kelsey was able to make sure those were a priority. Kelsey helped set the wedding timeline and worked extremely well with the other vendors to ensure things stayed on task. On the day of the wedding, Kelsey was a dynamo, and brought a no BS attitude (in a good way), making sure family photos were done in an orderly and timely fashion. Kelsey also went above and beyond on the day of the wedding, helping remove an unexpected errant lipstick stain from the wedding dress during the getting ready phase. Kelsey stepped in to take control of what was a chaotic scene to save the day and avert disaster. Our experience with Kelsey was great and we really felt like Kelsey delivered on what we paid for. And beyond her skilled photography, Kelsey has the perfect demeanor for a wedding photographer and was a pleasure to deal with from our first interaction with her through the delivery of our wedding photos. We cannot thank Kelsey enough.

The Best
We hired Kelsey Combe for our elopement shoot in Chicago, and she was absolutely phenomenal. Coming in from Florida, we were completely unprepared for the winter weather Chicago threw at us, but Kelsey guided us every step of the way. She recommended beautiful locations we never would have found on our own and made the entire experience feel effortless despite the freezing cold. Kelsey was incredibly professional from start to finish—responsive to every question, always timely with communication, and perfectly punctual on the day of the shoot, which was crucial since we only had a short window to work with her. She made us feel comfortable, taken care of, and confident that we were in great hands. Hire Kelsey!!!!
Hiring Kelsey Combe Photography was one of our best decisions throughout our wedding planning process. From the beginning her communication was prompt and it was clear that she cared. She even reassured me throuhought the planning process, when I was doubting other wedding vendors abilities. She’s incredibly easy to get along with and made us feel so comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Her work is beyond beautiful and timeless.
