For as long as I can remember, there has been a camera in my hand. Documenting every moment, the big, the small and everything in between. From the moment I get that inquiry email, I am beaming from ear to ear knowing I will get to work with another person, and help them remember the most important moments of their life. Our goal at K. Lauren Photography is for you to look back on your photos months or even years later, and be immediately transported back into the moment as if no time has passed. If it is a moment that you never want to forget, then we want to be there to help you remember.

At KLP we are very type-A, so we focus heavily on details and making your day run as smoothly as possible. Our true-toned editing captures the moments of your wedding day in the most realistic and authentic way, while keeping the emotion as genuine as possible.

Kelsey's communication is top-tier; she answered any and all messages (both via text and email) within minutes of us reaching out. She is personable, easy to talk to, and incredibly responsive to questions/concerns. I found her to be markedly reliable, which was something we wanted to prioritize when booking someone to capture the best day of our lives. Kelsey's work is absolutely stunning!!! She is able to capture a wide range of photos in various styles/aesthetics. She is considerably prompt/efficient (as in we had our sneak peaks before we woke up the day after our wedding) and incredibly sweet. Kelsey not only provided me with the direction/guidance I needed, but was so supportive in all of my anxious moments throughout our wedding day. I truly felt like one of our friends was photographing us, which helped make everything feel natural, comfortable, easy, and fun. She's unmatched when it comes to photographing life’s special moments and someone I will repeatedly hire in the future.

Kelsey was the very first vendor that we booked throughout our wedding planning process and she raised the bar for anyone we’d hire after. Thinking about how much Kelsey did for us from our wedding planning process to beyond the actual day overwhelms me with gratitude. There are countless reasons that she is exceptional, but I would love to highlight just a few qualities that have brought her into a league of her own. The relationship: Kelsey takes care of her clients. She is a great communicator who values being clear, direct, and prompt in every interaction. She creates a safe space for her clients and makes everyone feel comfortable. Kelsey deeply understands people and intrinsically knows what will be important to them. She demonstrated kindness with our friends and family on the day of the wedding by knowing names, making sure that everyone felt important and recognized. She collaborated extremely well with our other vendors and even called one out on her social media page following the wedding, despite that being the first time that she worked with her. Kelsey is someone that sees everyone, not just the couple that she’s working with. The efficiency: Kelsey’s lightning fast. The devil works hard, but Kelsey works harder. She is booked and busy yet ensures that her clients get their photography in a timely fashion. The amount of sneak peeks that she provides is unbelievable. I had so many friends, coworkers, and family members asking, “wow, you got THAT many pictures back a day after your wedding?” And they’re GOOD! She’s always giving 200% and always making sure that you’re not in the dark with her progress. The TALENT: Not only does Kelsey deliver quicker than anyone, her work is also magnificent. She has such an eye for capturing the moment and bringing you right back to it. Kelsey is a perfectionist whose talent keeps rising. Her editing is beautifully done. Her choreography is romantic yet not cheesy. Her eye is insane and she knows just how to bring a picture to life. The special touches: What Kelsey does better than anyone is add those special touches. She is someone that loves doing what she does and her genuine enthusiasm for her clients runs so deep. Late last year, she sent us a care package ahead of Christmas with an ornament, candle, koozie, and card. She posted for my birthday on Instagram. She made sure that we had our full wedding album ahead of Valentine’s Day. The amount of effort that she puts into making her clients feel truly celebrated and appreciated is unreal. Kelsey’s gift is rare, and it is so crucial to have someone along for one of your most important days that cares as much as you do. My husband and I could not be happier with our wedding photos, and our end-to-end experience with Kelsey. She is the best of the best and I could not recommend her more to anyone who will listen.

Kelsey has been wonderful to work with over the past year. I had a boudoir shoot done in March, I am very pleased with the results. It was my first time doing one. I felt extremely comfortable, confident and beautiful, all thanks to Kelsey… she asked what kind of music I wanted to listen to while we did the shoot and we listened to some Drake :). I had a friend come with me and she did a shoot as well. I appreciate that she posed me the whole shoot. We had alot of laughs during this shoot. I cannot wait to do another one in the near future. Kelsey was also my photographer for my wedding in September 2024. She was very good at communication before the wedding & during. She asked me to give her a list of “must” have photos and who should be in them. Not even before 12AM the night of my wedding, I get a text from Kelsey. Knowing how she is, I knew exactly what she text me. 60 edited photos from just hours ago! Some people wait MONTHS and don’t receive “sneak peaks”. I received sneak peaks 90 minutes after my wedding… the pictures came out absolutely beautiful. My friends and family also complimented how great the photos came out. I cannot say it enough, Kelsey is simply the BEST. Whenever I text Kelsey, I get a response within 75 seconds. I am not joking!!!! It’s very nice to work with someone who is very responsive and knows what they are doing. I will use Kelsey for any type of photoshoot for the rest of my life! You can see the passion Kelsey has for photography. I am very lucky and grateful to have found myself a forever photographer. Review from 2023: My fiancé and I had a great engagement photo shoot with Kelsey at Beatrice Hotel in providence. I had told Kelsey I envisioned a bar themed photo shoot in the city, she delivered! It was Kelsey’s idea to do the photo shoot at Beatrice Hotel. We had a great time during the photo shoot. Kelsey made us feel like we could be ourselves in-front of her. There was no moment of “awkwardness” Kelsey was giving us poses left and right. There was never a moment where Kelsey was unsure how we should pose or what to do next. We received sneak peaks within 3 hours of the photo shoot! I would definitely recommend Kelsey as a photographer. We are looking forward to our wedding photos with her.
