Hi! I am so happy you are here! Congrats on your engagement. I am Jordan, owner and photographer of Jordan Kate Photography, based in Amherst, Va. I fell in love with photography when I was young. I started by taking pictures of the beautiful mountains that make up my hometown, eventually, when I graduated high school, I ventured into photographing weddings. I absolutely LOVE every aspect of being a photographer. Whether that is meeting a bride for the first time or sending off a fully edited wedding gallery. I am HERE for it! I look forward to meeting my clients and forming lasting friendships with each of them! It is so rewarding.

When you hire me as your photographer, I want you to know that I am here every step of the way. I will answer all of your questions, give you a detailed photography timeline that we customize for your wedding, I will bustle your dress, touch up your makeup, and I will make sure every hair is in place...the list could go on! I do not want to just be here to take your pictures. I want to be a sounding board for whatever your concerns may be, and I will do my best to accommodate any special request or needs you may have. From the time we say "hello" I want you to feel as though you have an old friend taking your photographs.
