My approach is centered on authenticity and storytelling. Rather than directing or staging moments, I document the real experiences and emotions that make your day unique. When couples look at their wedding photos, I want them to go back to that moment in time, with each other, and their loved ones — not think about me, the photographer, and what I was telling them to do. I believe that it’s okay to make your wedding day more about your experience than the photos. It makes more sense to me to document couples having the time of their lives on their wedding day, than to put couples in front of pretty scenes and tell them to smile.

Do you provide guidance at any point during the wedding?

While I primarily focus on capturing candid moments, there are points during the day when I will take charge and give direction, like during family and group photos — I’m all about efficiency and making things as easy as possible when it comes to those important group photos. During portrait time, it’s an ebb and flow of stepping back and giving gentle guidance. The most important thing for me is creating a safe space where my couples feel comfortable enough to let their guard down and just be themselves together.

Absolutely! I welcome any specific requests or must-have shots you have in mind and will incorporate them into the natural flow of the day.

How do you handle low-light situations, such as indoor or evening events?

I am experienced in working with various lighting conditions and use professional equipment for high-quality images, even in low-light settings. I always bring my own light, just enough to illuminate the area in a way that doesn’t disturb guests or change the feeling of the atmosphere in your photos. If you had a candle-lit dinner, it should look like a candle-lit dinner in your wedding photos. I strive to maintain the overall original feeling of the atmosphere in my images.

What’s included in your wedding photography packages?

My packages include a specified number of hours of coverage, high-resolution edited images, and an online gallery for viewing and sharing photos. I’ll work closely with you before the wedding day to nail down the perfect timeline, select photo locations, and help figure out anything else you need so you can stress less.

Yes, I offer engagement and couple’s adventure sessions, which are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and create additional memories leading up to your wedding.

How do we book you for our wedding and what is your payment schedule?

To book, you can contact me directly through my website or Zola profile. A signed contract and a non-refundable 30% retainer are required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due three weeks before your wedding date. You’ll get your own online portal where you’ll have access to your contract, invoice, and any questionnaires. This gives you the option to log into your portal and make payments towards the balance at any point in time. Easy-peasy, no printing anything and no going to the post office.
