Hannah and Micah of Hillside Film & Photo were an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. Their communication was clear, friendly, and enthusiastic, putting us at ease every step of the way. The quality of their work was exceptional - the photos are absolutely beautiful and so romantic, perfectly capturing all the special moments of our wedding day. They had such great energy, were so warm and excited to be a part of our celebration, and even provided us with stunning preview photos just days after the event. Hannah did photos for my Bridal Shower, our wedding rehearsal dinner, and wedding. When we were considering photography and videography, we wanted something unfussy that would capture the emotions of the day. I was nervous about booking a photographer because it’s arguably one of the most important decisions you’ll make in the wedding planning process. But as soon as we received our first photos from my bridal shower, my nerves melted away! Hannah did an excellent job of capturing all the details and I’m so glad I have the photos to cherish forever. I also underestimated just how much time is spent with the photographer and videographer on the wedding day! Luckily, Hannah and Micha are great to be around, making us laugh and feel comfortable all day. They gave great direction, and we never felt awkward in front of the camera, we just felt like we were being ourselves. Hannah is so quick with her previews, and we were never left wondering where our photos were. I would highly recommend Hannah and Micha to capture your important moments.

Choosing a wedding photographer was one of the most crucial decisions for our big day, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. From the moment we met Hannah, her genuine passion for photography and capturing special moments was evident. She not not only understood our vision but enhanced it with her (and AMAZING Micah’s) creativity and expertise. On the day of the wedding, they were not just photographers but integral parts of our celebration. Their energy and enthusiasm were infectious, putting everyone at ease and getting genuine smiles and emotions from us and our guests. They seamlessly blended into the background during intimate moments yet took charge (literally Hannah and Micah showed me what to do for a Pinterest inspo pic I sent her) when needed to ensure every important detail was captured beautifully. They let us shine and feel so beyond comfortable and natural, as we are not people that like the camera outside of the wedding! Their talent truly shone through in the final photos. They captured not only the significant moments but also the small, fleeting details that we might have missed in the whirlwind of the day. Looking through the photos brought back all the emotions and memories, making us feel like we were reliving the day itself. I swear I look at them everyday! We cannot recommend our Hillside Film and Photo highly enough. They are not just talented professionals but also genuinely wonderful people who made our wedding day even more special.
