I've been taking photos ever since I got my first digital camera in high school. Capturing my friends having fun has always put a smile on my face. Photographing weddings is much the same: people throwing a fantastic party where everyone has a great time and I'm there to help you remember through photos.
What makes me different? I'm easy. I won't make you get into uncomfortable poses or look like Vogue models or take you away from your party. I capture your wedding day without getting in the way. The vast majority of the photos I take are of the candid moments as they happen with no intervention.

Attentive, creative, professional photographer
From the moment we first spoke with Colin Hayden, we knew we had found our wedding photographer. His proactive, approachable, and professional communication style put us at ease throughout the entire planning process, including our pre-wedding engagement shoot which really helped us get comfy with being photographed. On the day of our wedding, Colin and his talented second photographer were everywhere, capturing all the special moments with their high-quality, realistic, and romantic photographic style. We barely noticed them working, but when we sat down for dinner, they surprised us by handing over a few printed photos - what a thoughtful touch! Colin really listened to our priorities, focusing on documenting the full day, especially our friends and family during reception and on the dance floor, while minimizing time spent on portraits, ensuring we got all the posed photos we wanted without dragging out the process. We felt so comfortable with Colin behind the camera, and can't recommend him enough. We'd book Colin again in a heartbeat - his services offer incredible value, and we're thrilled to be able to relive our wedding day through his beautiful photos.

Colin was extremely professional, and such a pleasure to work with. He was really helpful with figuring out how to pose, and also personalizing the shoot to our personalities. He gave really great directions on how to make sure our smiles looked real. Such an amazing person to work with, and I highly suggest anyone work with him!
Amazing wedding photographer
I can't imagine anyone better than Colin to document our wedding with breathtakingly beautiful photos! First and perhaps most importantly, Colin is a nice guy. He's friendly and personable and he immediately puts one at ease. Next, he's a consummate professional, on-time, polite, and thorough. But his photos!? He gave exactly what we'd hoped to receive. Initially, we hired someone our wedding planner suggested, but never quite felt comfortable with his dark and arty aesthetic. Colin's photos are bright and bold and lighthearted, just like us and our event! And he really seemed to have a good time with us and our friends and family. It didn't seem like work to him. We couldn't be happier! Honestly.

We couldn’t be happier with how our photos turned out. Despite the weather not being in our favor, Colin made sure to accommodate and give us the shots we hoped for. He had great energy and helped us to alleviate some nerves along the way.
