Helen Tackett is a certified photographer located in South Carolina with a flair for creating beautiful, timeless images and documenting life through her camera. Originally from Camden, South Carolina. Helen now lives in Lexington with her husband, daughter, and 2 adopted fur-babies. Helen and her family love to travel. Their favorite place to explore are the waterfalls around Brevard, NC and the Greek Island (Paros and Santorini, especially). They are dying to make a third trip back one day!

Photography tells a story in a way that no other media can. It can be timeless. It can be joyful. It can make you speechless. An engagement or wedding day should be documented in this way so you can not only see but also feel the story through the images. That’s always my goal when photographing any event. When I started this, I had no idea I would love it so much. I take each request personally... I guess that comes from my years in customer service (but I consider it a good thing!). It helps keep me motivated to do everything I can to provide you with the images that you want. The client is the priority and my photography follows suit.

    Highly Recommend Helen with Calico Photography

    From the moment we met Helen, we were filled with confidence because of her professionalism and sweet personality. We are so grateful for everything she has done and for giving us the greatest gift we could ever ask for --- being able to relive our wedding (5/2016) through her amazingly stunning pictures. God has truly given Helen a gift! Our wedding day was everything we could have ever hoped for and we are so very thankful that she was there to capture it all!
