How many weddings do you work a weekend?

I do not schedule any other full wedding days aside from yours. I do not have my team go photograph another wedding else where, either. I feel like you should be the center of attention for your wedding day. Our whole focus will be on you and your partner that weekend.

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book me about 6-13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Question 3

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.

Question 4

Will you edit all our pictures?

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I typically give 50-100 images per hour we are there documenting your big day.

Do you also offer video services?

Accepted Answer

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. We do have a list of preferred vendors who we like working with. I can send you those videographers if you would like.

Question 6

How long will it take to see our pictures?

Accepted Answer

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 6-8 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive an online gallery with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints. These images will be in color and black and white. We will send you our favorite portraits 24-48 hours for your sneak peek for social media or to send to your family and friends.

How many pictures will we get?

You can expect about 50 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Question 8

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

Accepted Answer

In my nearly 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my team members or my contracted assistant.

Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Question 10

Do you have back up gear?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely! We never go to a wedding with only one camera. Each photographer normally have 3 cameras waiting to be used for situations like this. We also carry an absurd amount of batteries.

Question 11

Are you comfortable working in all types of weather?

Accepted Answer

Oh yes! I have photographed in sunlight, cloudy days, rain, and even snow. I have a “raincoat” for my camera and we bring clear umbrellas for our couples if rain is in the forecast. If you are getting married on a cold day, we will be wearing our coats, hats, and/or gloves.
