It's so nice to meet you! I was born and raised in New Jersey (a.k.a. I didn't pump my own gas until I moved to Connecticut 8 years ago)! Fueled by caffeine, I love discovering adorable coffee shops, supporting farm-to-table restaurants, and traveling anywhere and everywhere. Although I love exploring quaint towns across New England, I spend most days with my husband, 7-year-old daughter, our two Labradoodles, and cat! They take up most of my camera roll because they are just so darn cute.

We love taking the dogs for outdoor adventures, unplugging, and enjoying the little things. Being present and soaking in the moment is everything to me. There is nothing like snuggling by a campfire, making s'mores, or enjoying a good book!

Top notch quality
Forever blessed to have had Sarah as our wedding photographer. (Not to mention an amazing engagement shoot too!) She is fantastic and thinks of everything so you do not have to. Her photography skills are awesome, she has such a way with lighting and positioning. She will also ensure you and your partner are comfortable during photo shoots. Sarah drove through a snow/ice storm several states away the night before my wedding to make sure she wasn’t late the morning of - did I mention she is literally the best? Thank you Sarah, we love you and your work!

Amazing photographer
Sarah is an absolute gem of a human with a fantastic eye. She did our engagement and wedding photos and is so talented. She helped keep us organized during group photos, helped keep us calm and confident during couple photos and even kept us safe from guests trying to bombard us about things. She’s extremely talented, kind and relatable and we adored her. If our wedding photos are half as good as their engagement photos, which I know they will be, they will be out of this world!

Simply the Best
My husband and I loved working with Sarah from Anchored Roots. Your wedding photographer is someone who will be with you during the entire event so you want to make sure it is someone your comfortable with and that you trust. Sarah is 100% the person you want with you on your wedding day. I'm generally an anxious person but Sarah made me feel at ease, not just in front of the camera but also generally throughout the day. She was able to quickly build good relationships with my family and friends and that led to a lot of natural and fun photos. Also, her photography style and editing style were exactly what I was looking for. Even a year later, I still constantly look at the photos she took.
