Street Cred: Hardt You More is a Telly award-winning (excellence in video & tv), hair & airbrush makeup business owned by cosmetologist & coach, Becky Steinhardt. Becky is the daughter of rock violinist Robby Steinhardt from the band Kansas. (Give it a Google). And why should that matter to you? Because who are we without context & connection? I have 20 years in the beauty industry working with celebrities, influencers, business owners, brands & brides- we know how to make you look good in front of any lens. Wedding Hair & Makeup
I can’t recommend Becky enough! Having my hair and makeup done for my wedding felt like a really big deal to me, so finding the right person was important, and I definitely did. I quickly realized that I’m pretty picky about my hair and makeup, and Becky was so patient with me as I figured out exactly what I wanted. I definitely overshared in her questionnaire, but in her follow-up messages it was clear that she really read every detail and took it seriously. That level of care meant so much. In addition to her incredible hair and makeup skills, Becky is such a calming presence on what can be a high-energy, stressful day. She’s quietly attentive and ready to step in to protect your experience if needed, which I appreciated so much. During my trial, all the women in my family suddenly walked into the hotel room (I have a big, loud, very close family!), and the energy in the room changed fast. Becky very discreetly checked in with me to see if I was comfortable with everyone there and was ready to help create space if I needed it. When I told her the chaos actually made me feel more comfortable, she immediately shifted gears to match the energy and we ended up having such a fun time. She’s very intentional about the atmosphere she creates, and it’s clear that her top priority is making sure the environment matches what the bride wants and that you feel beautiful. And the results themselves were incredible. My hair and makeup held up SO well all day and night. For my hair, we did a mostly-down style with loose curls and some of the sides pinned back. During the ceremony the wind was whipping, and while my hair moved naturally, the curls and style stayed perfectly in place. My makeup was what impressed me the most, though. My only concern going in was how it would look after the ceremony because my mom, maid of honor, and I are all CRYERS and wow. Even with many tears fully falling down my cheeks, my eyeliner, lashes, and base did not budge one bit. And even after hours on the dance floor, everything still looked amazing. Becky has such a gentle, kind spirit and will truly make you feel the most beautiful you’ve ever felt.

Calming Enegy and Perfect Hair and Make Up!
Becky was perfect! I was worried about hair and makeup for my wedding in part because I don't wear a lot of make-up and in part because I get migraines, and hairsprays can be a trigger. Becky was the first person I spoke with who was understanding and willing to work around these issues. She did a consulting call and trial with me, used products without strong scents, and checked in with me after the trial to see if anything had triggered a migraine. She was also great with my bridal party and understanding when they kept changing their minds and she had to redo the wedding day timeline. She kept the bridal suite a calm environment separate from the chaos going on everywhere else and chatted with everyone while I had to take care of other things. My hair and make-up the day of the wedding were exactly what I envisioned, a natural glowing look perfect for someone not used to a lot of make-up. I would highly reccommnd Hardt You More.

Becky is an angel
I’m so glad that I picked Becky for my wedding day. Not only is Becky incredibly talented (I looked and felt stunning), but she has the kindest soul. She brought me so much peace and happiness on a chaotic and stressful wedding day. Out of all of the vendors we used I would pick Becky over and over again. She is truly a light and made sure that I felt seen and heard. She is such a cool and interesting person and had so much fun with my entire wedding party. We talked like old friends the entire day (yes, she was with us from early in the morning until right before our wedding). She is worth every single dollar that we spent. She is incredibly welcoming and kind and I feel as though I’ve know her my whole life. So grateful to her and tbh one of the happiest memories that day (I guess I got married or whatever haha).

Becky is an absolute dream to work with - she is so talented! I wasn't really sure what I wanted to go with prior to my trial but she talked through things that she thought we look best on me while still feeling & looking like myself. I even changed my mind multiple times AFTER my trial / leading up my wedding - I sent her a bunch of new inspiration photos and she always responded and reassured me I was making great choices to suit my style and look. She also did the MOB & MOG hair and both of them looked so wonderful too. She is such a fun presence to be around and makes the getting ready process so fun with zero stress. PLUS we were even ahead of schedule. Overall, I felt so beautiful, confident in how I looked and that's really all I wanted at the end of the day. She's simply the best! Truly can't recommend her enough!
