Beauty by Jessica Gallegos

I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I grew up with three brothers, many boy cousins and kind of a tom boy. Probably not by choice. About age thirteen my mom enrolled me in some kind of modelling and self building classes where I learned about beauty, fashion and about the importance of brushing my hair. I surprisingly caught on pretty quickly. It was almost as if it came naturally to me. I would use my girlfriends as manikins to practice the hair and makeup looks of the moment. I had become girly and began to realize that this was something that I wanted to do more of and was eager to learn more about it.

After graduating in 2007, I began looking for a salon to work at. I applied at so many but only fell in love with one. Leidan Mitchell Salon and Spa. The first thing I did was call my mom and tell her how beautiful this place was and how badly I wanted to work there. Of all the places I applied it was the only one that actually called me back. That was the beginning of my future. Since then I have established my business offering hair color, cutting, styling, special event hair styling and bridal hair & makeup. I can truly say it is my passion to help women look and feel their very best.
