I go out of my way to support small businesses, but this experience was an absolute waste of time and energy. I contacted Michael immediately after booking my venue for my May 2026 wedding. He didn’t respond until June 14. That should have been my first red flag and unfortunately, it wasn’t the last. Communication was slow and inconsistent from the start. We scheduled two calls. He did not show up to the first, and was late to the second. I foolishly gave him the benefit of the doubt. During our eventual two-hour call, he requested inspiration photos and had me complete a detailed questionnaire, which I returned within one day. What followed was months of excuses and empty assurances. He repeatedly claimed he could commit to my wedding date, yet I had to continuously chase him for a proposal. When I followed up, I received a snarky, condescending email implying I didn’t understand how his business works....... ironic, considering I run my own business and have over a decade of experience in the event industry. The proposal finally arrived six months later, in November — long after it was promised. I responded promptly with a few minor edits and sent venue videos he specifically requested. Then, right before Christmas, I received an email stating he could no longer commit to my May wedding despite assuring me on multiple occasions that he was “fully committed.” This was not bad timing or bad luck it was grossly unprofessional. Michael overpromised at every stage, failed to follow through, and ultimately strung me along for months instead of being honest from the beginning. He wasted an enormous amount of valuable planning time during a critical phase of wedding preparation. If you value clear communication, accountability, and respect for your time, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Hello Ally, thank you so much for leaving your review here, despite not taking any deposits. For anyone reading this: within the past year and a half, I suffered a heart-attack and had to undergo surgery. At 54, running at full-speed for so long had caught up to me at an early-age. Our wedding schedule is heavily populated for 2026; so much so, that I had to cut back on scheduled-weddings. I chose several that were of "a distance from home base", as later in the months ahead as I could, because I had no idea what to expect after surgery. I was preparing for the worst-case scenerio. I was afraid that I would not be able to deliver/perform for Ms. Martin on her wedding day of 5/9/26 (down the shore) for what she requested/needed for her wedding. I was sincerely MORE WORRIED about not being able to hit-the-mark or "being here" at all, than I was worried about getting any negative feedback. I don't mind this, I'm not angry, not in the least, but Ms. Martin failed to mention that she already had another florist in the background as per an email from her near the beginning of our conversations, so her "last minute rush" of words here are surprising to say the least. For my own place: it took me so long to create a presentation because of not only my health-issue I was dealing with, but also having a full schedule going on at the same time. Managing the two was a challenge to say the least. It just took extra-time since I'm the only one that handles the wedding orders and communications. I'm a small-business: I don't have a secretary, bookkeeper, accountant, HR representative, many designers, delivery personnel, event-staff, etc..." I have a few part-time dedicated employees, my mother, my wife, and me. I'm the "primary" here and wear almost all the hats, so I believe my three-plus-decades of these facts overshadows Ms. Martin's claim of running her own business for a decade...there's no comparison. I see that you (Ms. Martin) put a review on that other florist's page already, I do hope and pray that they come through for you with flying colors. This is your special day coming and you deserve to have everyone's full-attention, I believe I said this in my letter to you. I was only thinking of you when I emailed you, but being that you are the only bride that decided to write what you did, it's only fair that I explain the background.

We cannot recommend Michael William Florist and crew enough! They truly listened to my daughter’s and son in laws vision, asked all the right questions, and made them feel instantly at ease, confident that there wedding flowers were in expert hands. When the flowers arrived on their wedding day, we were all completely and utterly blown away. My daughter’s bridal bouquet was a work of art. It was even more stunning than I could have ever imagined . The ceremony and reception flowers were just as spectacular. The floral pedestals were absolutely breathtaking with the centerpieces they created. It perfectly tied their theme and color scheme together. We received countless compliments from our guests throughout the night, with many asking who the florist was. Michael Williams Florist went above and beyond, even incorporating floral petals down the aisles and around the sweetheart table .Their creativity, professionalism, and passion for their work shined through in every petal and arrangement. The ceremony hall was so romantic and gorgeous. If you want a florist who will bring your dreams to life and exceed your every expectation, look no further than Michael Williams Florist. Thank you for making my daughter and Son in Laws day so incredibly beautiful and unforgettable.

As the mother of the bride, I cannot say enough about the outstanding service we received from Michael William Florist & Greenhouse. From our very first in-person meeting, I was impressed by Michael's communication style - he was professional, attentive, and genuinely excited to be a part of our special day. The floral arrangements he created for the ceremony and reception were simply beautiful, with an impeccable attention to detail that truly elevated the entire event. Having used Michael for several events now, I can say with confidence that his work is always outstanding and he never disappoints. The value he provides is unmatched, and I would recommend him to any couple planning their wedding.

I had my wedding on 10/18/25 at the Collingswood Ballroom in NJ. I worked with Michael and his team for my florist needs for day of! Everyone was commenting on how beautiful the mums and all the flowers looked. I could not believe how big and full they were! I’ve never seen mums like that before. People were going crazy after trying to take some home with them! I of course ended up with a few for my house. All of the flowers turned out amazing and I was so happy with how it all turned out. The day of helpers (Colwyn, Matthew, and Michael's Aunt Beth) did a great job setting up and transporting the flowers inside after the ceremony. I am so happy I went with Michael as my florist, please look into him for your wedding, or general florist, needs!
