Girl's Got Balls was born in the middle of a pandemic (because if we can survive that, we can survive anything). In July 2020, Chef Shauna (Fetterman) Lehde started slinging risotto balls under a tent just to get the name out there. Fast forward a year and boom-the food truck rolled in. By 2022, Shauna's sister-in-law Carrie Jones joined the adventure, bringing double the sass and twice the hustle. Together, we took on Food Network's Great Food Truck Race-and while equipment failures knocked us out, our spirit never wavered. Since then, we've kept serving, teaching, and even mentoring students about what it really takes to run a food truck.

Girl’s Got Balls is a 100% gluten‑free, celiac‑safe food truck serving chef‑crafted risotto balls with bold flavors and a playful brand personality. Every ball is hand‑crafted, scratch‑made, and developed by a trained flavor expert who builds menus that are safe, inclusive, and genuinely exciting. Our business has grown from a tiny idea into a nationally recognized brand—competing on The Great Food Truck Race, earning a loyal community, and proving that gluten‑free food can be both safe and unforgettable. We bring high‑energy service, memorable branding, and food that makes people smile.
