We are a husband-and-wife catering team serving the Houston area, and we’re passionate about creating food that makes people feel cared for. Chef Nick brings chef-quality flavor, and I bring the service, planning, and attention to detail that make everything run smoothly. We love helping couples feel stress-free on their wedding day by handling the shopping, cooking, delivery, and setup so they can enjoy their celebration. Every menu is fresh, customizable, and made with heart.

At Chef Nick’s Catering, we combine elevated, chef-crafted cuisine with the warmth of a family-run business. Our menus are fully customizable and made from scratch using fresh ingredients—never frozen, always prepared with care. What truly sets us apart is our Live Pasta Bar, where our chef prepares pasta made-to-order right in front of your guests, turning dinner into part of the celebration. From planning to service, we focus on clear communication, flexibility, and creating a smooth, stress-free catering experience couples can trust.

Sample catered weddings

Alicia reached out wanting a warm, comforting Cajun buffet for her celebration, and we immediately knew the menu needed to feel like home — bold flavors, hearty dishes, and that “everybody’s eating” atmosphere. This wedding was especially memorable because the family wanted a mix of classic Cajun staples with a few modern touches, all served buffet-style so guests could enjoy as much as they liked. We built the menu around their favorites: creamy shrimp & grits, chicken and sausage jambalaya, Cajun green beans, dirty rice, and a sweet finish with bread pudding. What inspired us most was how hands-on the family was during the planning process. They wanted authentic flavor, nothing watered down, and trusted us to bring that real Louisiana feel to their menu. Seeing guests go back for seconds (and thirds!) reminded us why we love this work. It was a beautiful, lively evening — full of great food, happy people, and that unmistakable Cajun energy.

    Interactive Pasta Bar Total Crowd Favorite

    We booked Chef Nick’s Catering for our wedding and went with the interactive pasta bar for about 150 guests—and it was hands down one of the best decisions we made. From start to finish, Chef Nick and his team were absolutely flawless. The pasta bar was such a hit with our guests. Everyone loved being able to customize their dishes, and the food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. You could truly tell everything was made with care and high-quality ingredients. We had so many people come up to us throughout the night saying it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. The team was professional, organized, and kept everything running smoothly without us having to worry about a single thing. Communication leading up to the wedding was also top-tier—every detail was handled, and they made the entire process stress-free. If you’re looking for something unique, interactive, and delicious for your wedding, I cannot recommend Chef Nick’s Catering enough. They truly went above and beyond and helped make our day unforgettable.

    Amazing Cajun Catering for Our Wedding

    Chef Nick’s Catering did an amazing job for our wedding. We had about 175 guests and went with a Cajun buffet, and everything was delicious. The food was hot, seasoned well, and our guests kept coming back for seconds. The team was on time, professional, and handled everything smoothly so we didn’t have to stress about anything. The setup looked great and the service was friendly. We were really happy with the whole experience and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing catering for a big event.

    Maid of honors job easy

    I was the MOH for my best friend's wedding. One of the worst things is sitting down after a stressful day and eating subpar meal. Chef Nick hit every taste bud and then some. This definitely helped make my job a lot easier since I didn't have to worry if my bestie girl was eating because everyone was!

    Wonderful catering!

    I used Chef Nick and Rhonda for my wedding rehearsal and wedding buffet. They were both wonderful, knowledgeable, and helped me pick the perfect foods for my people (I have some that had food allergies, diet restrictions, etc) and Chef Nick helped to accommodate everyone! I will definitely recommend and use Chef Nick’s again and again!!
