He has over 34 years of experience in the baking industry refining his craft and expanding his knowledge. An alumnus of Cordon Bleu and proud holder of a master's in pastry & Confectionery.

The team at Sweet Assurance offers a free complimentary tasting to each couple. This gives you a chance to sample the fresh buttercream and fondant that the bakery is famous for and marvel at their portfolio of past creations. These chefs' source seasonal and local ingredients where available, helping to boost the economy of Bloomington while giving you the best flavor profile possible. Whether you desire a traditional tiered wedding cake, or a selection of custom cookies is entirely up to you. The team at this sweet boutique works tirelessly to make your dream into a reality.

Exceptional!
Sweet Assurance provided exceptional quality, beautiful design, and creative flair for our wedding cakes. Their communication was professional and upfront throughout the process. The cakes were fairly priced and our guests are still raving about how delicious they were - I even ate a piece with my hands, it was that good! They creatively incorporated our pets into the design, which was a special touch. Sweet Assurance was one aspect of our wedding that I didn't have to stress over, as everything turned out perfectly.

Amazing Owner, Amazing Cakes, Amazing Services
Jeff made my cake and cupcakes for my wedding, and they were a hit!! This is some of the best baking I've ever had, and I highly recommend them. No need to look anywhere else. I can't wait for my next event so I can order again!

Above and Beyond
Not only did Jeffrey do our Wedding last minute because our previous baker backed out last minute, but he did it on a Holiday Weekend. Flavors were on point; design was perfect, and customer service was outstanding.

All around great!
We went with Sweet Assurance based on a recommendation from a friend. We were able to attend a free tasting which really helped us understand what we wanted for our wedding. Sweet Assurance laid out over two dozen filling, frosting, and cake combinations for us to taste and play with. All of the flavors were so fresh! They use fresh fruit to make their fillings resulting in unique and tasty flavors. We landed with such a refreshing cake for our summer wedding filled with apricot and mascarpone.

Delicious!
Jeffrey was great to work with - from the first tasting to delivery! He has unique creations and the flavors are distinct and bold. He makes everything fresh and you can taste the difference. We had several tastings with other businesses and this was the best in freshness and flavors. There were so many good options, it was hard to narrow it down. Jeffrey is very easy to communicate with and open to changes, we will happily order from him again for future cakes!
