Sage Cakery is a bake shop and cafe located in Urbana, MD. We are honored to be a part of your celebration! We bake entirely from scratch using top quality ingredients. Often organic, local, and always non-gmo, we never use premade mixes or preservatives. Also offering a variety gluten free and plant based options!

Our use of organic flours, fresh and local ingredients , and a talented, award-winning staff set us apart from your average, run of the mill bakery. We offer all of the classics, as well as unique flavor combinations that you won't find anywhere else!

Sage Cakery Review
We were scrambling to find a cake vendor weeks before the wedding. Sage Cakery was quick to assist us and provided us with a cake tasting box. Following the tasting, the staff quickly responded to our request to utilize their services and provided us with numerous options for flavors, set up services, and cupcake platters. The cupcakes they provided were perfectly decorated and delicious! We are so grateful we were able to utilize Sage Cakery as a vendor.

Delicious Cake
Sage Cakery was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was timely, responsive, and genuinely kind. When it came to the cake, they truly delivered - the quality of their work was yummy, elegant, and beautiful. They created the perfect mini two-tier cake for us, and it was amazing. We were blown away by how stunning and delicious it was. Sage Cakery played an integral role in making our special day even more perfect. We highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding!

Delicious and beautiful cakes!
Sage Cakery was very easy to work with from start to finish. We had a great experience at our tasting, they were generous with portions (we had some to take home so we could make final decisions!). The cake itself was gorgeous and they were prompt on the day of the wedding. Delicious too! Also - very accommodating of allergies which is what attracted me in the first place. Not all bakeries take allergies seriously in terms of cross contamination, Sage was very thorough and we felt very confident in their ability to handle allergies properly.

The best desserts!
Amazing cakes and desserts!!! They did such a great job at creating my vision and everyone LOVED the whole dessert bar. Everyone kept asking for more- and everything was so fresh!
