HI! I'm Jessica and I'll be your Cakelogist for your upcoming special day. Words to describe myself: Direct, sarcastic, sweet, generous, helpful, sincere, blessed, honest, quirky, awesome, intuitive, empathic, and witty. I also have a superpower - I create art from cake. With that comes great responsibilities.. (too much?). I began creating cake art in 2009 and officially opened Not Your Ordinary Cakes in 2011. It took me two years to perfect my recipes and perfecting my art is never ending. I LOVE brightening a person's day. Cake art enables my ability to do so. NYOCakes specializes in customer relationships, works of cake art and quality.

Our passion and specialties are Sculpted, 3-D cakes. We also specialize in character cakes, Party Cakes, what I call "Cakes with Personality" and anatomy cakes. Our clients LOVE our Swiss meringue buttercream flavors and rich decadent chocolate ganache. We are a legal Texas Cottage Bakery and because of this I do not accept clients without an appointment already scheduled, but that would change coming soon when my storefront opens. I love questions and I love explaining the cake process. You have questions- I may just have the answer.
