Elegant Ensembles was started in 1995 as a way to help connect folks in the Chicago area with great live musicians available for special events. These days, over 3,000 performances later, she has the joy of working with a talented roster of artists who create beautiful art which goes in the ears and straight to the heart. It is our utter joy to paint your wedding in beautiful, meaningful, unforgettable music. Your interaction will be with owner April Berkowski. She not only owns the business but performs on violin for many of the events. Though she was trained on violin playing classical and baroque music, she has recently enjoyed performing the music she always loved to listen to in her free time including Blues, Jazz, Pop and Rock. With over 25 years of performing experience and collaborations with hundreds of local artists, Elegant Ensembles has personally chosen to work with some of the most experienced and passionate performers in the Chicagoland area.
