East Coast Soul was AMAAAAAAZING! The entire party was on the dance floor all night. The music, the voices, the momentum - all of it was just fabulous. Couldn't give them higher marks.

East Coast Soul Verve Ensemble are Amazing!!
We cannot recommend East Coast Soul Verve Ensemble enough. Not only was the East Coast Soul team professional and easy to work with, but the actual wedding night was where they truly blew us away. Our number one priority was getting people on the dance floor and keeping them there, and they exceeded every expectation. The energy they brought was electric! They kept the momentum going all night long! We’ve lost count of how many guests have told us they were the best wedding band they’ve ever heard. If you want a band that is talented, high-energy, and knows how to read a room, look no further. Truly an exceptional experience!

ECS Incredible wedding decision!
East Coast Soul was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding! We had the Philly ensemble at our wedding, and for weeks after the wedding, guests were still going out of their way to tell us how great the band was. The dance floor was packed all night and they brought incredible energy to every song! They also performed our ceremony music and the trumpeter and piano player played our requested songs (“Moanin’” by Art Blakey and “La Vie En Rose”) so beautifully and it set such a special tone for the day! We got married on an island and it was so reassuring to hear that ECS had experience bringing the band and the set up out to the venue. They handled coordinating with the island to get the equipment earlier and it was so reassuring that they had everything under control , even given the logistically complex venue! The pre-wedding survey made it easy to share our preferences without being overly prescriptive. Everything felt well-organized, effortless, and perfectly executed! Thank you so much!

BEST band ever!
East Coast Soul (The Stax) absolutely CRUSHED it on the stage on 12/12 and they were the highlight of our wedding night. We had so many people come up to us after the wedding to tell us how awesome the band was and how much fun they had dancing and singing their hearts out. I also wanted to call out the uplighting ECS provided and how fantastic it looked in the ballroom. East Coast Soul absolutely nailed it, the uplighting changed colors throughout the night and put out the best vibe for our reception. I would 100% recommend this group for any big event. They brought the energy and fun. THANK YOU ECS!

Stop Searching - This Is Your Band
East Coast Soul was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We got married just outside of NYC, where there are endless fantastic band options, but we had heard ECS at another wedding and immediately fell in love with both their talent and their energy. We knew they’d be as great as we remembered but they somehow exceeded that. The Stax ensemble (who we booked) is simply unreal. Nothing I write will capture how special they were but if it’s any indication, we literally lost count of how many guests, people who are accustomed to the best NYC bands, pulled us aside to ask, “Who is your band?!” and “How did you find them?!” Not only are they extraordinarily talented musicians and vocalists…they know how to put on a show. Multiple friends said it felt more like a concert than a wedding band. They brought this electric, joyful energy that kept the dance floor packed all night long. Even our wedding planner was blown away. And honestly, they were just as wonderful behind the scenes. So warm, so easy to work with, so genuinely excited to help bring our night to life. They listened, offered ideas, and were totally game to get a little creative. It felt like working with real humans who cared just as much as we did - which is not true for everyone in the wedding industry! Bottom line: East Coast Soul is unbelievable. Book them. The only regret you’ll have is not doing it sooner. (Not kidding… they were the first vendor we booked after securing our venue and we ended up changing our wedding date to have them!)
