Q: Do you learn new songs?

Yes! If we don't already have the music you'd like at your event, we will purchase or write our own arrangement for an additional fee of $35/song.

Q: How early will you arrive to set up?

We always arrive 30+ minutes before our contracted start time to set up and make sure everything is ready to go!

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours?

Absolutely! We love to play for ceremonies, cocktail hours, luncheons, dinners, and receptions. We have even played first dance music for the Bride and Groom! We love being a part of your special day and have music perfect for all different occasions.

Q: What do you wear?

We normally wear our standard black performance dresses, but we also offer a selection of dress colors you can choose from if you want us to match your wedding colors! Additional dress options include emerald green, light blue, white, and champagne pink.

Q: Are you fully insured?

Yes! We have active business and event insurance and are happy to provide that information to your venue if needed.

Q: What is your travel and break down fee?

For events within Utah and Salt Lake County, UT we will travel to your venue at no additional charge (in other words, the travel is FREE)! This is something we love offering to our amazing local clients. If your venue is outside these areas, we charge a variable travel fee based on our round-trip drive time. Contact us for more information!

String Quartet

Artiva Strings is a string quartet based in Utah Valley, known for bringing elegance and energy to weddings, private events, and special occasions across the state! Formed in 2020, our quartet has played at countless venues throughout the valley. Our members—Kaitlin Booth (cello), Annalicia Loveridge (violin), Caitlyn Curry (viola), and Rebecca Dalgleish (violin)—first connected at school while working toward BA and MM degrees. When we’re not in the studio or on a stage, you will find us teaching our 120+ combined music students, enjoying Utah’s natural beauty, baking sourdough bread, and spending time with our families.

Because of our education and experience, we bring a distinct blend of artistry, elegance, and professionalism to our weddings and events. Artiva Strings is dedicated to making sure your special day is unforgettable! From classical masterpieces to contemporary favorites, we strive to perform all of our music with precision, passion, and a touch of magic. We also offer fully customizable playlists to reflect your personal style. Our team is committed to being responsive, detail-oriented, and hard-working to ensure that working with us is the easiest part of planning your wedding.

My wife and I hired Artiva String Quartet for our wedding, and they absolutely delivered. From the moment they began playing, the quality of their musicianship was immediately apparent, polished, expressive, and exactly the right atmosphere for the occasion. What really set them apart were the two custom song arrangements we requested. They nailed both of them. The arrangements were beautiful and felt thoughtful, not like an afterthought or a simple transcription. You could tell real care went into preparing them. Beyond the prepared material, what impressed us most was their adaptability in the moment. They adjusted their playlist on the fly throughout the reception and happily replayed requested songs. That kind of flexibility and professionalism is hard to find and made a real difference in keeping the energy exactly where we wanted it throughout the evening. We LOVED having Artiva Spring Quartet play for our daughter's wedding. They provided the most beautiful prelude and ambiance as guests were arriving.
