On the day of my wedding, she arrived early to set up all her supplies. She did hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and my aunt - and she made us all look fantastic. I've never looked so good in my life! Plus, my makeup stayed strong all day and night long, I never once needed a touch up. I strongly recommend Ne'Kea to anyone else. “Tay is an absolutely phenomenal photographer, and I feel so blessed and honored that we chose her to capture our wedding. From our very first Zoom call, Tay radiated warmth and approachability. She not only listened but genuinely understood my vision and experience—often more than I did, which made me feel so at ease. She became a safe space in the whirlwind of wedding planning, and that sense of trust and comfort was invaluable as we prepared to capture the most important moments of our lives. I was very particular about the photographic style I wanted for our wedding. It was important to me that the images felt natural—like anyone looking at them could feel as though they were right there with us. I also wanted crisp, high-quality photos, and Tay delivered all of that and more. Our wedding photos are absolutely stunning. On the wedding day, Tay and her team were incredible. Tay was like a shadow in the best way possible—always present but never intrusive. There were times I’d think, “Where is she?” only to realize later that she was exactly where she needed to be, capturing every moment flawlessly. At other times, it felt like she and her team were right in the mix, blending in so seamlessly with our family and friends. They made it so easy for Jeff and me to stay in the moment and be fully present throughout the day. The experience and expertise Tay brought to the table were worth every penny. I’m so grateful my sister recommended her to us, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any bride who wants to look back on her wedding day and feel nothing but magic. One thing I do wish we had done—and something I highly recommend to any future bride and groom—is taking the engagement photo shoot. We booked Tay about five or six months before our wedding but had already done an engagement shoot with a friend, so we kept putting it off until it never happened. Looking back, I realize how valuable that experience would’ve been. It would’ve helped us prepare better for the family photo sessions and be more conscious of certain poses, like during our first kiss. While our photos are still breathtaking, I believe the engagement shoot would’ve given us that extra edge of confidence and familiarity, which is one of its biggest benefits.”

“We could not have asked for a better experience at Bellevue. We knew Bellevue was perfect for us because the park held a lot of memories, and the mansion is so stunning and full of history. There are so many beautiful locations for photos and we loved that our cocktail hour could be inside and outside. The reception tent allows for you to see the park/greenery and horses, which creates a beautiful atmosphere. The food was great, and everyone loved the bartenders, and the fun surprise Barbie drink was so cute! We were so grateful for the cocktail hour food in the dressing room and the desserts ready at our sweetheart table. Also, the food wrapped up at the end of the night! Those were all very sweet touches! We truly appreciate all of the effort the team put into our day, it was so magical! Thank you!”

The Barn at Cauffiel

“I have to say The Barn at Cauffiel was the best venue that my husband and I ever could have picked for our wedding day last April 2025. I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while! The whole Jeffrey A. Miller (JAM for short) team there is extremely professional, helpful, and just downright amazing people for organizing your event and catering, whatever it may be. The Barn at Cauffiel estate is gorgeous with a combination of vintage, rustic, and floral beauty. They really have some amazing places to take pictures of everything and our photographers loved the space. They even rent out the house to stay in overnight in case you want to get ready at the house before the ceremony and reception (there’s a gorgeous room with natural lighting on the ground floor that we got ready in)! The food and drinks (lavender lemonade and hibiscus iced tea were my favorites) there are absolutely incredible. Especially the hors d’oeuvres, the ones that stick out in my memory were the salmon cones, prosciutto Manchego croquettes, lamb chops, bacon wrapped scallops, cheesesteak spring rolls, and even a surprise one called “hot date in Nashville” (a cheese stuffed date with what I think was sweet chili sauce. We also got the pretzel bar add on with multiple dips for picky eaters (my niece and nephews). Our dinner was pasta for the vegetarian option, chicken with parsnips puree, and coffee rubbed tomahawk steak with mushrooms and sauces. You will not be disappointed! They also made our cake for us which was delicious as well, we went with a split of strawberry for the bottom layer & bourbon chocolate for the top and middle layer with salted caramel buttercream icing. All of this was already amazing, but by far the best thins about picking this venue was the event coordinators. Lissette & Nicole helped to organize the WHOLE THING. They put together a timeline for everything to happen so I could communicate with the other vendors coming to help. They had organized forms to fill out for seating charts, menu choices, and decorations inventory to keep track of everything. They even followed up with me before, during and after the whole event with any questions or concerns I may have. They were so THOROUGH. Not only that but the assistant coordinator Siobhan worked incredibly hard with tracking the decoration inventory from the house for cocktail hour to the barn for reception dinner was so helpful and on point. She was also so kind and excited about our wedding that she really stood out as a wonderful person. I can’t say enough about how amazing our big day was, so thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

After many years of experiencing all areas of photography, by almost accident, I stumbled into wedding photography. From that day, I'd fallen in love with ability to tell a story with a simple image. She paid attention to our family dynamics, and everyone felt comfortable with her. I have so many photos to choose from, and now our house is filled with beautiful portraits that look just as crisp enlarged as they do on the computer screen. “We are so happy we used Coterie Cafe Kitchen for our wedding! Working with Caitlin, Soufiane, and Dmitrik was such a great experience. From they very beginning, they were friendly, attentive, and incredibly organized. They took the time to meet with us on numerous occasions (both at their restaurant and at our venue) to make sure there were no missed details. They worked closely with us very early on to develop creative and elevated cocktail hour and dinner menus that our guests raved about afterwards - if you're looking for suggestions, the cheesy arancini balls were the clear favorite during cocktail hour, and the chicken satay bites (pictured) were a close second! The team was very careful to suggest ingredients and dishes that would help us lower costs without sacrificing quality, portion sizes, or gourmet touches. On the day of the wedding, they were extremely well-prepared, and their waitstaff were experienced and professional individuals. Early on during dinner service, they encountered some problems that were absolutely no fault of their own, and they pivoted with such care and precision that we didn't even know there were issues! It's clear they were incredibly far-sighted, and had a plan ready for every possible scenario. Caitlin, Soufiane, and Dmitrik truly went above and beyond to ensure our day was extra special. We are so grateful to the Coterie Cafe Kitchen team for making our wedding day unforgettable.”
