This venue was amazing! This was the first and only venue my husband and I looked at because we fell in love instantly. The workers are so friendly and always there when you have any questions (and I had A LOT). They were timely with their responses and never hid any costs. The venue was beautiful to say the least; my husband & I got married on the beach and it was everything we hoped for. Our day of coordinator, Sophie, was so sweet. The ceremony was set up perfectly after just showing her my photo inspo. Also, it’s very nice you can bring all your own decor if you please, which I did and Sophie set it up exactly how I envisioned. The reception was also beautiful in the set up with the spider draping I added to our package. The food & drinks were just as good as when we first tried them. We had a carving station and a chicken option, along with the fan favorite, tortellini. The vendors they use were also so helpful and sweet and met all of our needs! Our friends had a fantastic time, some saying the best wedding they’ve attended! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding and it was all thanks to Carmel Fields!

Our big day could not have gone better, and we owe so much of that to the incredible team at Crystal Springs! From the very beginning, Cameron was instrumental in helping us secure an amazing deal and a comprehensive package that offered incredible value. Nikki provided expert guidance during our initial planning meeting, and Lindsay was a total rockstar, she was with us every step of the way, from the early planning stages to being our seamless Day-of Coordinator. We also want to give a special shout-out to Megan, who was in training on our wedding day but handled everything with such grace and care that you’d never have known she was still learning the ropes! The entire team ensured that every detail of our vision made sense and offered constant reassurance whenever we had questions or "wedding jitters" during the process. One of the biggest highlights was their quick thinking when our family arrived at the venue earlier than expected; they jumped in immediately with a creative solution to make sure the bride wasn't seen before our first-look photos! We also truly appreciated their flexibility, as they allowed us to bring in boba as a secondary sweet treat without any additional charges. Our guests loved it, and it was such a meaningful personal touch to have included. We are so grateful to the Crystal Springs team for making our wedding day so joyful and stress-free!

We got married at Chaminade in November 2023 and highly recommend the venue. We discovered the resort when happened to take my mom there for dinner to celebrate her birthday. Every member of the staff was kind and helpful. In fact, Christopher was able to give us an impromptu tour of the hotel rooms, banquet halls, and ceremony locations. Once we signed our contract, Rebecca and Lizzie helped plan the catering and day-of details which included the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception dinner. I felt very comfortable going into the wedding day and knew everything would be handled smoothly by the Chaminade team. I can't emphasize enough how kind and helpful every member of the team was throughout the event. We had so many guests comment that the food was outstanding - even months after the wedding! Sadly, my appetite was thrown off from the excitement of the day but the catering team offered me ginger ale and toast throughout the night. The venues were set up beautifully and we appreciated all that went into creating the settings for the ceremony, bar, and reception areas. Chaminade made our wedding day unforgettable and I am so thankful to the team for bringing all the details together!

Less than two hours south of San Francisco lies the most magical getaway along the Santa Cruz coastline. I first came upon this impossibly charming storybook B&B while searching for wedding venues, and from the few photos I was able to find online, it appeared to be something out of a fairytale.  Situated just 10 minutes from the ocean and tucked beneath giant California Redwoods of Aptos, is Sand Rock Farm Bed & Breakfast. From the redwood carriage barn, to the turn-of-the-century Craftsman home, and ivy covered stone walls of the winery ruin, it was everything I could have ever possibly dreamed. On my first stay, I knew this was an incredibly special place. We entered through a private gate and drove along a wooded pathway until arriving at a towering yet tranquil home with logs burning in the fireplace. The Arts & Crafts era house was filled with period details like dark wood finishes, original fixtures, and a formal dining room with wainscoting. A grand staircase leads to a second story with window nooks and guest rooms with en-suite baths. And in a neighboring grove, a giant redwood stands tall, a beacon of the property. AND THE FOOD... Derek, the chef, is amazing. The food is fresh, seasonal, and farm-to-table. His attention to seasonal, local ingredients mixed with bold flavors embody the adventurous spirit of this seaside town. From our first breakfast, he was accommodating and cognizant of my dietary preferences, an honorable quality among those with talent.   Staying in this magical getaway, get lost wandering paths through ten private acres, or stay cozy and curl up with a good book by the fire. We did both. All rooms have jacuzzi tubs, robes, WiFi and cable TV. See if you can fit in a long weekend by checking here. Or, even better, rent out the entire property for a company retreat, team-building exercise, family reunion, elopement, girl’s trip, guy’s trip, or family vacation. You will have access to 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a chef's kitchen, large dining room, gardens and a hot tub.  Having our wedding here was beyond my wildest dreams. It was everything I could have hoped for, from the on-site planner, florist (who was amazing!!), and chef (perfection!!), to the breathtaking backgrounds, and multiple settings for custom day flexibility. Jen was super easy to work with and it was far more affordable than other venues at the time. Plus, we loved that our wedding party could stay on-site - there was a great afterparty that ended with a jacuzzi and eating dinner leftovers in the kitchen! Also, conveniently located and very easy for guests to access. This place is truly something special, and I’m already looking forward to our next visit.  It makes me so happy to share it with you.

Sydalyn Hill is a beautiful, peaceful, and rustic wedding venue that overlooks the redwoods. They have chandeliers in the walnut trees above the dance floor which is such an elegant a unique touch to the venue. Gwyn, Jonathan, their daughters, and team helped the entire day run smoothly. Gwyn also helped with the organization and planning leading up to the wedding. We did a lot of virtual planning as we did not live in the area. Gwyn was very organized and helped with all the little details throughout the planning process. We rented the venue for the entire weekend. It was amazing getting to enjoy the venue and get settled in before the wedding day. We had the best weekend!

Seriously the hottest up-and-coming venue in the entire Monterey Bay area - where the beautiful and unique grounds are only the surface! Every aspect of the venue has been carefully thought out to accommodate the wedding party, guests, and vendors perfectly. The tropical foliage of the ceremony lawn offered a stunning backdrop for our vows (plus the sweet scent that wafts from nearby strawberry fields). The reception area was the perfect size and layout for our guests to eat, drink, play games, and dance throughout the night - cozy but spacious at the same time. Brothers Ranch was so beautiful and so well designed that we really didn’t need many of our own decorations. Also a huge plus for us was having access to the space for the entire weekend (Friday-Sunday) so we had plenty of time for setup and we didn’t have to worry about cleanup at the end of our wedding night! But the true heart of this venue is Jessie and Jonathan Brothers. More gracious hosts than venue owners, they helped us every step of the way to have an amazing and stress-free wedding. They both went above and beyond running around the whole weekend handling all of the little details to provide a seamless experience for us and our guests, from giving golf cart rides between the reception and ceremony spaces to rolling out heaters after sundown. So a big thank you to Jessie and Jonathan and definitely book Brother Ranch - the best venue in all of Monterey Bay for an amazing, beautiful, stress-free, and super fun wedding!

* Tour * We fell in love with Clos LaChance Vineyards (now CordeValle Winery) the moment we stepped onto property. We were looking for a winery wedding venue that could host up to 200 guests and where you could see vineyards from the ceremony and/or reception site; Clos has exactly that plus a golf course view! Our tour with Kristin Murphy ended with some wine tasting, both red and white. * Pre-Wedding * Kristin was incredible to work with! We had a lot of questions during the wedding planning process and she always had answers! Kristin was quick to respond via email and very accommodating when it came to special requests. Something that can’t go unnoticed was her expertise in the wedding industry and how knowledgeable she is to the property. * Wedding Day * The Clos LaChance event staff took care of everything day of wedding. They set up all of our signage in the exact location we asked for it to be placed. They placed our appetizers at our sweetheart table since we weren’t able to join Cocktail Hour. Not only did they take good care of us and our guests, the food that Chef Lu cooked was delicious (although we knew this coming out of the food tasting). * Overall * We would highly recommend Clos LaChance to anyone looking to host an elegant wedding. * Clos LaChance will always have a special place in our hearts. We held our wedding reception at Saratoga Springs in the Cathedral Grove region of the venue on a Saturday in October. After visiting them for a walkthrough, we booked this venue about a year and a few months in advance. This was the first venue we visited and we fell in love! We felt a great family-like vibe from the staff, starting with Jennifer who coordinated our initial booking and tour. Throughout our time preparing for this event, Olivia and Sam were extraordinary in their communication, response time, and knowledge of these events. They did a wonderful job in helping us understand what we needed vs. what we wanted and good decisions to make. They never tried to upsell us on more expensive options, always letting us know the best value for what we wanted. Throughout this process, we knew we had made the right choice in terms of staff. Scenically, Saratoga Springs is stunning! An outdoor venue with several different species of large trees like oaks and redwoods, many small creeks that run through and around the venue, and several amenities included such as lights that wrap around the trees, a firepit, and artificial turf that you can actually wear high heels on! We were in love with the scenery immediately because our reception was LOTR/Legend of Zelda themed and this was perfect for us. Throughout the actual event, the Saratoga Springs staff was excellent. They assisted us and our own day of wedding coordinators in running the event and making sure we had everything that they could provide. Our reception was during a brutal heat wave in the Bay Area, but Cathedral Grove had so many large trees that the shade they provided meant the floor never got hot and it felt more like 75 degrees which was SO essential for the comfort of ourselves and our guests. Everything was great, and we give the venue and their staff a 10/10. There was one glaring issue we want to address. The DJ we booked, Paul Dominguez, was a very nice man. He seemed to be on top of it, being in constant communication with us leading up to the event. We felt that he was going to do a great job. Yet, when it came time for the event, he made SEVERAL mistakes in what we asked him to do that we felt the need to address this situation and performance. He is part of the approved vendor list for DJs but we honestly feel Saratoga Springs needs to either reevaluate him or discuss this with him because literally everything else about the night was perfect for us, except him. Again, he is a nice guy and even provided cold sparklers for us for free which we really appreciated, but the lack of attention to detail in several aspects of this night was something we felt we needed to address here. Overall, Saratoga Springs is an excellent venue choice for a big event like a wedding/reception and we are happy to recommend anyone looking for a venue. We had an amazing experience for our reception and we are very satisfied with the staff and scenery of this venue.

Left this same review on The Knot! I had to review this place on more platforms because of how amazing it was! We truly cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and the team. The space itself is absolutely stunning—it felt magical the moment we walked in and somehow looked even more beautiful on our wedding day. The entire team was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely excited for us, but Kelly deserves a special shoutout. We absolutely loved her. She went above and beyond in every possible way—most memorably by framing one of our wedding photos and sending it home with us. That alone shows how much she truly cares. The food was incredible, and our guests are still talking about it. We were having so much fun dancing that we didn’t even finish our cake, and the team thoughtfully saved it for us, which meant so much at the end of the night. The pricing was also very budget friendly, and they truly work with you to make your vision happen within what you can afford, which made the planning process so much less stressful. Everyone is still telling us how beautiful and fun our wedding was, and it honestly means the world to us. Knowing that our guests felt the love, joy, and magic of the day makes our hearts so full. None of it would have been possible without this incredible team and Kelly, who put so much care into every detail. We will always be grateful for everything they did to make our wedding day unforgettable, and we cannot recommend this venue enough.

I got married at Guglielmo Winery in Sept 2024 and had an absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience. I am so happy with our choice of this venue. Starting with the initial tour of the venue, the Event Director, Brianna, was incredibly sincere, friendly, and knowledgeable. We met with her a few times over the course of our wedding planning process, and she was so communicative and on top of things throughout the whole process. After planning a wedding, the best advice I can give to an engaged couple is to find vendors who are good communicators. There are vendors who will be slow to respond or not respond at all in the wedding planning process without multiple reminder emails, and it can add so much unneeded stress. From setting up the initial tour of the venue to our check-in meeting to our ceremony rehearsal two days before the event, I can’t say enough about how good Brianna was with her communication with us. Convenience for guests was an important factor for us, and the venue is easily accessible from the freeway and has easy parking across the street in a large high school parking lot. No winding roads or lost guests! And it has the ceremony area, cocktail hour, reception, and dance floor all in close proximity to one another. The lighting at night is absolutely beautiful with the string lights under a large canopy tent. And it felt so spacious and comfortable for our 160-person wedding. There are pricing packages to fit any number of guests, whether it be for a small intimate wedding for 50 guests or a large 300-person wedding. If you’re looking for an outdoor wedding venue, Guglielmo Winery is the place for you!

We had a wonderful experience working with the Saratoga Country Club for our wedding. From the very beginning and throughout the whole process, the event planner Sherry was always quick to respond and helpful with answering all my questions. The Country Club recently repainted and re-carpeted their reception room, and it looks so good! They had an event earlier in the day before our wedding, so I was super worried they wouldn't be able to set everything up quickly enough, but they did an amazing job! I had a minute to see the reception room before the ceremony, and they had arranged and decorated everything exactly how I had specified. The day-of reception coordinator, Mara, was also wonderful. She was super attentive and helpful, even checking on our parents multiple times throughout the evening to make sure they were happy. Would definitely recommend this venue for a South Bay wedding!

My husband and I chose to have our wedding reception (170 guests) at Fogo de Chão in Santana Row, and we highly recommend it for anyone else considering a restaurant as a venue for a wedding reception. We were already familiar with both the Fogo de Chão San Francisco and Santana Row locations as we had dined at these two locations a few times prior to the wedding (both for date night and family outings). Each time the service was fantastic, so it was an easy choice for the both of us to make. I've assisted in planning wedding receptions for other family members and friends with various, typical, non-restaurant wedding reception venues, each and every time a different headache, so my husband and I knew for sure that choosing a restaurant would be the best choice. The Fogo de Chão team delivered and provided the easiest planning experience by far. Leo and Yelena provided us with timely updates, kept communication open, and kindly received and efficiently executed all of our requests. The night of our reception greatly exceeded our expectations. Fogo de Chão is a beautiful restaurant as is so very, very minimal decorations were needed. The quality of our dinner and service felt so luxurious. The staff was warm, highly attentive and catered to all of our guests' needs; we even had our own designated server for our sweetheart table. From the moment we inquired, all the way to the end of our wedding reception, Leo, Yelena, and the entire Fogo de Chão team made our experience extremely effortless, seamless, and memorable! Our guests to this day still rave about how delicious everything was, and the great time that they had! My husband and I are beyond happy and grateful that we were able to share our wedding day with the Fogo de Chão team. They made our wedding reception an event we will proudly look back on and cherish forever. A very heartfelt thank you to the Fogo de Chão team for this special time!
