It was a wonderful experience working with The Vecoma by the Yellow River. They are top notch professionals. The food was the best I have ever had. (To name a few - Salmon, roast beef- caesar salad and Mac and cheese were so good).. The guests could not say enough good things about the food. The venue itself is gorgeous. We had a fall wedding down by the river. Leaves were falling and it was just magical. The cost for this venue is a steal. Book this place!! The owners are the best and everything is very organized. Caroline is a wonderful photographer and so easy to work with. The day went so smoothly. Within a few days, we received a few sneak peek photos and then a great short video of our wedding. Our day was wonderful and stress free thanks to these people! I have had three daughters get married, directed and decorated for many weddings in my lifetime- and I can honestly say- this is the best I have worked with and seen.

Our wedding at The Carmichael House, May 4, 2024, was absolutely beautiful. The owner/coordinator Paige was incredible!! Her hospitality made me and my wedding party feel so welcome, she was so accommodating while also allowing us all the space and time we needed to enjoy ourselves. There was also a space for my husband and his friends to enjoy themselves as well and he said they truly enjoyed themselves. While searching for a venue, what set Paige apart from other venues I visited was that she was so personable, and I didn't feel like I was just another business transaction. We talked back and forth for a year during the planning process, and she always responded in a timely manner, especially the last few weeks of planning, I was bothering her late into the night, but she was responding immediately. She kept the wedding on track and on time. I would highly recommend The Carmichael House as a top-notch wedding venue if you're in the market for a wedding venue you definitely won't be disappointed.

We had the most flawless, amazing, magical event with Live Wire. From the day we first inquired to our follow-up emails, the staff at Live Wire was amazing. We hosted a sorority graduation event for 40 families with 200 people gathered for both dining and live music. Even though Live Wire does not provide food, they do allow catering and were super helpful, coordinating with Saucehouse to make dinner fabulous. The space itself is cool, roomy and has both inside and outside areas that worked perfectly for our dining needs and live music. The staff was amazing. They made sure the band and tech were all covered and made the transition from dinner to dancing seamless. Erin and Erika were our contacts and they simply performed without fail. From our first inquiry to our final email, they were amazing. There were no hidden fees or surprise charges, and they have a digital platform for easy payment and communication. I can not say enough about this event space and the Live Wire staff. Thank you for making this night memorable. What a way to send these graduates off!

It’s one of those places that just feels good and reminds me of my childhood in South Carolina. Relaxed, welcoming, real. And the vineyard is beautiful. Mrs. Arlene is the sweetest and most welcoming vendor I ever spoke with. She ensured that all the details for how we wanted the day to go was discussed. She offered different vendors that we could work with. She worked with my tight budget for my small wedding and made our day more special that I could’ve dreamed of. She was consistent with checking in with me which was greatly appreciated since I was planning my own wedding and was super busy with work and everything else. She was there the day of the wedding helping out in all the ways she could, she even fixed me and my husband’s plates so we can sit down and relax. Her team of photographers are the absolute best and were so sweet. Over all the whole experience was amazing and I can’t recommend her enough. She honestly feels like family and on top of everything the venue is beautiful! It’s an 1800 century that they’ve renovated, but kept all of its charm. If you’re looking for a small venue for a baby shower, wedding, birthday party. This is perfect! I am definitely going back for future events.
