From the cake tasting (on china plates, water provided, guided by the wedding coordinator) to the communication process in between to our cake arriving at the venue - this place rocks. We ordered a four tiered cake with classic lambeth frosting. We agreed upon two of the layers being funfetti cake with cookie dough filling (you have to try this) and dark chocolate cake with raspberry preserves as the filling. “Our daughter was married Sept 2023 and we worked with Yessie for her wedding cake and all the desserts at the dessert table. She was fantastic! Our daughter had a floral 'Alice in Wonderland'-ish wedding and Yessie worked with us making sure she got all the details exactly right for the cake. Our daughter wanted bright floral colors in the desserts with a bit of woodland look. Yessie took all this into consideration and really came thru to execute the look/feel our daughter wanted. Yessie was easy and professional to work with, even coming up with a new macaron flavor that our daughter requested. She was patient with changes and additions. We are in NC, so alot of the planning and design was thru email and messenger and Yessie was always super quick to respond and never let messages sit there for days like some of the vendors. Finally, the look she created was great, but that was nothing compared to the flavors! She knocked every dessert out of the park with her flavors! Everyone commented on how good everything was! She really cares about each person she works with and will go above and behind to make your vision a reality!”

“Valerie of Frosted Swirl was an absolute delight to work with while creating mine and Dylan’s dream sweetheart wedding cake and cupcakes! From the very beginning, she made the entire process feel exciting, easy, and so special. We started with a tasting box, and honestly… we wished we could have chosen every single flavor. Each cupcake was beautifully crafted and unbelievably delicious. We ultimately chose four flavors that perfectly complemented our November 1st wedding - Apple Cider Donut, Cannoli, Brownie Sundae, and Chocolate Raspberry. While our Red Velvet cake was absolutely delicious on the inside, and she added extra cookies to the cake after our follow-up consultation. We learned a tough lesson about deep-colored frosting. Cheryl warned us about the impacts of using heavy dye to achieve a burgundy exterior (as we wanted to avoid fondant), and we should have listened! The exterior ended up with a bit of a chemical taste and stained everything it touched. Take our advice: Cheryl knows her stuff! If she makes a suggestion on color or texture, trust her expertise—you’ll be in great hands. Aside from our own misunderstanding, the service and cake quality were wonderful.”

“Amy was an absolute joy to work with! Because my husband is Peruvian American, we really wanted to have a dessert table at our reception (a Peruvian wedding tradition). “Going with The Naked Cupcake for our wedding day was a no-brainer. We compared several different places and none of them hit the mark like The Naked Cupcake did. To start, they offer the option of a virtual consultation for the tasting, which makes it super easy and convenient for busy people like my husband and I. You get to pick out 4 different combinations to taste for cupcakes, pick them up, and then schedule a virtual consultation that works for your schedule. After that, it was smooth sailing. I told Alison exactly what I was looking for and she delivered! She was so easy to talk to, flexible to get us what we wanted, and quick! Plus, she was very on top of things making sure our venue got their insurance, communicating with our wedding planner, etc. My husband and I were so happy we went with them. We loved our wedding cake, all the flavors from the tasting were so good we went with pretty much all of them, and they were so kind to leave us a sweet handwritten card with a mini cake for my husband and I to take home (we decided to freeze it and have it on our one year anniversary :)).
