The Victorian details and beautiful grounds offer a timeless backdrop for your special day, where you can say your vows in front of the charming gazebo. There is also an inside ceremony option, in our ballroom. Cocktail hour is enjoyed in the “home” part of the Manor with access to the wrap around porch and courtyard area with fire pit. The Manor provides two areas for a spectacular reception - an elegant setting with windows on several sides of the main ballroom to accommodate up to 150 guests or a tented reception on our lush landscaped grounds accommodating up to 250 guests. You may arrive four hours before your ceremony and get ready in our spacious bridal party suites. Hosting only one wedding a day, we pay special care and attention to every detail, making the wedding planning process stress-free and the event flawless for you and your guests.

“Mountainville made our wedding absolutely AMAZING! Lauren, James, and their team were incredible from start to finish - always so helpful, organized, knew what they were doing, filled in our gaps, and just made the whole thing so easy. We didn't hire a wedding planner, and it was totally doable to plan our wedding ourselves with Lauren on our team acting as Day-of-Coordinator. Their packages were great and SUCH a good deal for what we got. We received numerous comments stating that our wedding was great (some even called it the "best wedding ever!"), and Mountainville is definitely the reason why - the grounds are absolutely gorgeous, the staff was attentive and helpful throughout the night, and everything ran like a well-oiled machine. Not to mention that the food was absolutely amazing, and there was plenty of it! I wholeheartedly recommend Mountainville Manor to any couple planning their wedding!”

Our historic house was built and finished in 1774 and was the home of New Jersey's first elected Governor William Livingston. Throughout time the house was purchased to the Kean family where they resided until the last resident passed away in 1995. Our 23 acres grounds are full of beautiful gardens. You may chose to get married in our gardens which can be found throughout the whole property. Guests will love exploring and walking around the grounds during some off periods of the event. A first floor house tour is also an option so you and your guests get to see the beauty of Liberty Hall Museum.
