If you are reading this because you are looking to hire a wedding planner. STOP LOOKING AND HIRE SAM. I had her as my day-of coordinator and have ZERO regrets. She picked up all the planning about a month and a half before my wedding and she could not have stepped in at a better time. That last couple of months before your wedding is a tornado of payment deadlines and vendor meetings. No matter how organized you are, it is A LOT to keep track of. Sam helped make sure all my deadlines were met and picked up all the last-minute things that I hadn’t even thought of. She was able to provide great vendor recommendations for things I hadn’t checked off my list. I am the type of person that finds things easier if I do it myself and it’s difficult for me to ask for help. However, I quickly realized that I could ask Sam anything and trust that she would get it done. She was always available and responsive via text, call or email. Not only did I find her easy to work with, but my family and guests all made a point to compliment her work ethic and warm personality. Sam means business and does it was the brightest smile on her face! My wedding didn’t feel stressful or rushed at all. Everyone had a great time at my wedding and it wouldn’t have been that way if we didn’t have Sam and her amazing team.

She was so helpful through the process, especially with the added stress of postponements with COVID. On the day of our wedding, she provided so much guidance with posing, lighting, background, etc. to make sure all the photos turned out the best they could be. Lastly, her photos are beautiful! Liz was AMAZING!! She truly saved my wedding day! I had a makeup artist booked out 6 months before my wedding , and 3 weeks before the wedding she doubled her prices. Not only was she empathetic, she also took on my large bridal party of 10 people! We had our wedding at Oso Creek Golf Course and it was absolutely perfect. Rochelle guided us through the planning process, and Derek really brought our vision to life. The venue itself is stunning, especially with those sherbet-colored sunset views and the glass walled atrium to capture that classic California indoor-outdoor feel. The food was incredible—we're still getting compliments from guests about it. Derek even provided a golf cart for photos. The outdoor space is set up beautifully with the fire pit and bistro lights. From the fans keeping us cool on a hot day to the thoughtful details throughout, everything came together flawlessly.

My husband and I decided on a micro wedding with 25 guests. As people who love great food and memorable dining experiences, we knew the food and beverage had to be the highlight of our day. It took us a while to find the right vendor, and we couldn’t be happier that we went with Parish Events! We originally hired them for catering and bar services, but ended up using their planning services too and I’m so glad we did. From our very first inquiry, we were met with such a warm, thoughtful response and plenty of information about their fully custom menus and process. We hopped on a Zoom call, instantly felt comfortable, and decided to move forward. Both our dinner and cocktail menus were completely custom. We even had tastings for both before locking anything in. The dinner tasting alone was a 12-course experience that genuinely rivaled meals we’ve had at Michelin-starred restaurants. It was incredible. At first, we planned to handle the rest of the details ourselves, but we ran into some issues with rentals and other vendors. I reached out to Parish Events for advice, and not only were they happy to help, it became really clear they were far better equipped to take this on. We added on some of their planning services and never looked back. They helped with design details and secured the rest of the vendors we needed to bring everything together. Our wedding day was beautiful, seamless, and everything we hoped for. I wouldn’t change a thing.

My husband and I hired Amber Marie as a live painter for our wedding day. She was an absolute delight to work with, from beginning to end. We absolutely love her artistic style (a bit more on the colorful and whimsical side of true-to-life) and she was so professional on site. We would absolutely recommend hiring her to any couple planning their wedding day in Southern California and looking to add a special experience as well as a beautiful piece of art to keep as a memory. Honestly, between this piece of art vs our other wedding memorabilia... this painting is what we would choose to grab first in a fire. 949 Studio met and exceeded my expectations for the wedding day! Our DJ Mike was considerate of our wants and met with us a few times before the wedding day to ensure everything was nailed down. He double-checked our chosen songs and made suggestions if he thought one of them wouldn't work. He really brought the party to the wedding day! Our MC Matt was top-notch. He made sure that he had everyone's names correct, that our timeline was on schedule, and was able to work on his feet when something didn't happen exactly in the timeline. He was professional and kind and brought the energy to the wedding day! This team was incredible and made our wedding a night we will never forget!! Pictures don't capture just how much fun we had! When I started planning my 40th birthday party, I couldn't decide between a band or a DJ. Each one I was looking at was just not the vibe and I was starting to get discouraged. Then, a friend of mine posted a story at a party where Tyler was DJing/playing the sax, and right away I knew he was the missing piece. I've attended parties with a sax player before, but NEVER like this and never one who does BOTH the DJing AND the sax! From the moment I reached out, Tyler was incredible. He followed up quickly and was great with all communications - we hopped on a call and to go over my theme and ideas, and he was so receptive and amazing with adding in things to help take my existing ideas to the next level. He even helped with the floor plan suggestions to help ensure my goal of "everyone being on the dance floor with me all night" would be more achievable - and omg am I glad I listened. Additionally, he suggested extending the party 1 hour, and thankfully we did because my initial timing guess was way off. Bottom line - trust him, HE KNOWS HIS STUFF. At the same time, he was never pushy and I never felt like I HAD to go with his ideas, but again, so glad I did. On the night of the party, from start to finish Tyler and his team were flawless. He made sure to play all of my "must play" songs, and read the vibes of the room perfectly - I've truly never seen some of my guests dance this much EVER. The amount of people who came up to me that night and have texted and called me since to tell me how epic Tyler and his team were is not surprising in the least. Multiple guests described it as the "best party they've ever been to" and said they "haven't danced that much since college" (and let's just say, it's been at least 15-20 years since then for all of us). One of my friends even booked him on the spot for her upcoming birthday! I could truly go on and on, but I will just end with this - DON'T THINK TWICE, DON'T BOTHER LOOKING ELSEWHERE, BOOK TYLER. You will NOT regret it! Thanks Tyler and team for the most epic night of my life!!! (also, I wish I could upload videos here because photos don't do any justice!!!)

Summary/TLDR:  We had a big wedding with a lot of complex personal decor set up and Kimberly and Travis went above and beyond! Lessen your stress and book her! Full review: My now husband and I had a big wedding at the Disneyland Hotel, and Disney does not handle any personal floral or decor, so we knew we would need help!  We hired Kimberly for her full day of coordination service for things not provided by Disney, and it was one of the best decisions we made.  When I first reached out, she responded quickly to let me know of her services and to set up a call. I was already pretty set on hiring her from the reviews I'd seen, but the call was also extremely helpful! After hearing about our details, she recommended a DJ for us to request from Disney, who was absolutely perfect for our wedding! In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Kimberly checked in to see how I was doing and if I needed help with anything, even though I had only hired her for the day of coordination, which was so kind and thoughtful!  We had a large wedding with over 250 guests, and our bridal party was huge as well, so there were a lot of moving parts.  I was pretty frantic the morning of our wedding as I had overslept with so much left to do. Kimberly was so helpful with everything - and really helped reduce and lessen my stress, which as anyone getting married would know, is priceless! Kimberly and her husband handled all of our personal items so well! Several of which had to be set up multiple times (e.g for the ceremony and then for cocktail hour or for cocktail hour and for the reception). We had multiple guestbooks, some of which had multiple parts, multiple card boxes, favors for each family that had to be set up alphabetically (150 bags), a huge memorial table full of pictures that I wanted set up in a very specific way, reserved row signs, a welcome sign, Filipino shawls for the wedding godmothers, custom bar signs, Venmo signs for the money dance etc. We also enlisted their help last minute to help guide people to their table for the reception because of the way our seating chart was set up. Some cousins were supposed to help with that but got caught up in the moment and forgot! But Kimberly and Travis handled it themselves and made sure everything went smoothly! At the end of the night, she and Travis made sure to pack up all of our personal items and bring them back to our getting ready room.  Kimberly and Travis also worked seamlessly with the Disney staff and other vendors! After the reception ended, I realized I had lost track of my Disney bouquet, to which I had attached irreplaceable sentimental items, and Kimberly, who was on her way home, texted our Disney day of coordinator to help us find it in the nick of time!!  If Kimberly was this fantastic with just day of service, I can't even imagine how incredible she is with full planning. I absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone! Brides and grooms - do yourself a favor and hire Her!
